Leftist Caricature of the American Founding

While the topic of Wilson's book is worthy of analysis, he fails to address any serious scholar of the American Founding that contradicts his thesis, that the American founding was based on racism and sexism. Instead he addresses fellow scholars who agree with his thesis but do not go far enough in condemning the Founding. Wilson's failure to engage anyone who does not agree with him make his book a mere caricature of the founding, overemphasizing the parts that strengthen his thesis and completely disregarding the rest.
