Jordan Dean is an amazing young woman who has made her own mark in the world without her billionaire father's help. I admired Jordan and appreciated her gritty determination and kick @ss attitude. Aidan Foster is a seasoned warrior with Delta Force who is now taking the time to reevaluate his life. As a favor to a friend, he steps in as a bodyguard to Jordan temporarily. It seems becomes a permanent position as Jordan's life explodes with kidnapping, gunfire and repeated threats on those she loves. The plot was fast paced and filled with edge of the seat action, hot and sexy times and a thrilling conclusion. Ms. Delecki never disappoints and I always look forward to a new book.
Mission: Impossible to Surrender by Jacki Delecki is the second book in her new Impossible Mission series and was every bit as good as the first one. Once I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down.
Once chapter one sets up Sophie and her new mission in life, the story took off and never slowed down until the end. The plot was quickly paced with action, suspense, hot and sexy times between Sophie and Finn and even some laughter from the banter between the Jenkins brothers. Ms. Delecki writes likable characters caught up in scary and suspenseful situations that can also lead her characters to finding love. I certainly hope that Ms. Delecki has plans for more of the Jenkins brothers to meet their match.
Mission: Impossible to Love by Jacki Delecki was another suspenseful ride from the first chapter. I can always count on Ms. Delecki to provide me with alpha males and strong females that can stand on their own.
Izzy was a child prodigy of mathematics and computer science. She made a naive mistake in her first job that sends her running to hide out in Seattle and work at Dean Industries. Sten Jenkins is the typical alpha male but he's also a computer whiz as well. The electricity between these two is explosive but neither trust each other as danger closes in on Izzy. A well-crafted and fast paced plot with action and suspense that kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed seeing Sten's brothers, Adrian and Sophie again as they all made appearances in this book. I'm already excited to see who Ms. Delecki will write about next in this series.
“Mission: Impossible to Resist” is about a kidnapping. This book is action-packed. I could not go to bed until I finished it. At first, it took me a little bit to understand the characters, but when things started happening, I could not put the book down until I read the last page. Someone kidnapped Jordan’s sister, but she was not who they wanted. When Aiden began guarding Jordan, he thought he would be babysitting a socialite. Instead, he found a woman with substance. Aiden was attracted to Jordan, but he could not afford the distraction. He was there to protect her, not to fall in love with her. However, the heart knows what it wants, and Aiden and Jordan will have the ride of their lives. When Jordan is kidnapped, too, everything comes to a head. Will they survive the odds? Jordan is no empty-headed socialite, and Aiden is a special forces operative. Their adventure will keep you turning the pages.
“Mission: Impossible to Surrender” is about giving into Love. Finn and Sophie knew each other since childhood, and they loved each other since then. Everyone around them knew the secret, but they did not share it with each other. Will they ever bring their love to the light? Finn’s mission is to guard Sophie, but the men after her are pure evil. Will she survive? Finn will do anything to protect her. With love and adventure, you can’t go wrong. This romantic suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. This book is the second in the series, and I look forward to reading more about the Jenkins brothers. I hope Ms. Delecki writes their stories.
“Mission: Impossible to Love” is about a woman on the run. I enjoyed reading this romantic suspense. It has all the components of an enjoyable read. It has romance, action, and adventure that will keep you on your toes. Izzy and Sten do not start on the right foot, and Izzy must find it in herself to tell Sten the truth. She is running from a boyfriend who is selling secrets to the enemy. There is too much at stake, and when hearts are involved, things get a whole lot more complicated.
My eighth read from author Jacki Delecki and I have to admit I was only familiar with this author from the Code Breakers series! No matter what era she writes in you can always count on wonderful character development. Delecki has created another series of books that you cannot wait to get to the next one. As always I look forward to the next book, they're that good.
Mission Impossible to Love (Impossible Mission #3), my twelfth read from author Jacki Delecki and I have to admit I was only familiar with this author from the Code Breakers series before reading this series! No matter what era she writes in you can always count on wonderful character development. Delecki has created another series of books that you cannot wait to get to the next one. As always I look forward to the next book, they're that good. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
