Short and sweet. Gets to the point. Who needs long, in depth "self help" books, when it is summoned up in 10 pages in the simplest form you can possibly write. I bought this both for my toddler son, as well as my adult sister. It works for all ages. Wayne Dyer has a way of making outlook on life seem just so simple and I like the way this book portrays that. I've been a fan of Wayne Dyer for many years as I was introduced to his work by both my father and grandmother and he has never steered us wrong. Great job Dr. Dyer for simplifying this and making a book for all ages!

I recently purchased Wayne Dyer's "Whole Kit & Kaboddle" from my local public television station - a set that included several great books, CD's & a DVD - all around the subject of inspiration. Included in this set was Mr. Dyer's latest children's book, "Incredible You!".

Since I've read nearly all of this author's previous works, I was excited to see what his first childrens book would be like. And, I have to say that I absolutely love it!

"Incredible You!" is a great book for parents & children to go through together (so the parents have a chance to elaborate on each of the 10 lessons, helping their children to see the many ways that each may show up in their lives). Each lesson is discussed in a short, rhyming manner, and has awesome illustrations to boot!

Some of the lessons include:

"You Are Filled With Love"

"Find A Quiet Place Inside"

"Make Today Great"

"Change Your Thoughts to Good"

"Take Care of Yourself"

At the end of the book are several great questions that parents can use as a starting-point for discussing each lesson further.

This book would make a great gift! In fact, I plan to give it to all of the children in my life for their birthdays this year.

I've been on the look out for books that nourish my children's minds and souls.

In today's day and age it is easy for little minds to be subjected to negativity and i have long since learned that keeping a positive mind is positively good for you ! I wanted the same for my 4 and 7 yr old. I purchased this along with unstoppable me and they have both been wonderful for my little girls. We read one page a night which i think helps keep continuity and gives them something end the the day on a positive note. They really do leave my girls with a good feeling before bedtime.

The first few times i read them to my girls, my oldest would smile, one night she said, I love these books mummy and i love you". I know the reason why she said this is because i left her feeling happy.
