The color Kindle edition of INDIA TODAY is now available on the Kindle Reading App for your Android device. Download issues at no extra cost from Archived Items.

INDIA TODAY was launched in 1975. In just a few years, it became the leading news magazine in the country. Now, with editions in five languages, it is the most widely-read publication in India-a position it has held for over a decade-with a readership of over 11 million (Source: NRS). The magazine's leadership is unquestioned; so much so that INDIA TODAY is what Indian journalism is judged by, for its integrity and ability to bring unbiased and incisive perspective to arguably the most dynamic, yet perplexing, region in the world. Breaking news and shaping opinion, it is now a household name and the flagship brand of India's leading multidimensional media group. We ask the most difficult questions and provide the clearest answers.

The Kindle Edition of The India Today will usually include all articles found in the print edition but will not include images at this time. For your convenience, issues are auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle every Monday at the same time the print edition hits the newsstand.

I stopped reading a while ago because I didn't want to spend $73 a year for the print subscription when I knew I didn't have the time to read the whole magazine. Now comes the Kindle edition for $1.25 a month, what a steal!

I get to stay updated about India (all aspects including Politics, Culture, Business etc.) and I can read exactly what I want.

Very well laid out, no pictures which is fine, love it!

I used to read this stuff regularly when I was in India. I was first worried about subscribing it, as I know kindle's magazine version doesn't have a lot of images. But when I started reading it, i realized you actually don't need any pictures. Its great. The content is awesome. I totally love it. Worth every penny.

I picked up a Kindle subscription a few months back and am extremely happy with this purchase.
Pros
All the articles in the print version of the magazine are featured in the magazine
Even the city-wise supplements are included in the Kindle edition
Each edition makes it to my Kindle on Saturday
The new Kindle software update makes it even easier to browse the magazine

Cons
Limited number of images. This is a problem while reading articles referencing images, graphs.

Overall, great value for money !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I subscribed for the kindle edition of india today just two weeks ago and the August 31 issue was a damaged copy. There were no pictures and the main article "mood of the nation" was missing. I send a complaint to wecare@indiatoday.com 4 days ago and still waiting for a reply. Didn't expect this from such a reputed indian magazine.

Issues do not get delivered regularly. No issues have been delivered in the last two weeks. Also issues when delivered were missing articles (even cover stories!!). With all these problems it just doesn't make sense to subscribe.

Enjoying it so far. The cover stories especially are very thorough and critical. The kindle edition turns out to be cheaper and more convenient than the physical version.

The Kindle version of the India Today magazine fulfils my need for timely updates on India. It continues to be one of the two English mags in India that covers political, business and social developments on a weekly basis. The Kindle version of India Today helps me access the mag in a timely fashion rather than depend on delivery boys who could delay the delivery of the mag by a day or two or sometimes even later. Given that this is a weekly, these delays can be burdensome. That said, the kindle version is devoid of some crucial pictures that usually go with such magazines. Some of the pictures can be enlarged at the click of a button. In some cases even the enlargement does not have a print size large enough to make for easy reading. Still will continue to subscribe to the Kindle version because it is the best alternative available.

I picked up a trial subscription for India Today on my Kindle and have decided to hold on to it for the following reasons:
1. Its extremely affordable for 4 issues a month.
2. It offers an excellent insight into all things India as it unfolds.
3. There are no images and you get to read it in the grayscale form but if you are in it for the information, why do you need anything in color.
4. Throw in the benefits of reading anything on the Kindle, this is a great purchase.
Strongly recommended.
