High, Book 1, 4-Stars
I thought Bethany was a bit timid but watching her with Zachary showed a more stubborn, snarky and almost bitchy side to her. There were times when she got mad and all he had to do was whisper a few words and her anger melted away. Why couldn't she just stay mad for a normal amount of time? To say he's obsessed with her is an understatement. He wants honesty from her but he's keeping his secrets close to his chest. I would say Bethany is overwhelmed and charmed because living with only the best parts of someone would be ideal. Except when he says the name "Farrah" in his sleep.

At first the story rang with the air of a 50 Shades of Grey type of story. Towards the end, things started happening to lead you away from that. I feel Bethany's frustration and hearing another woman's name on your man's lips, while he's dreaming with a smile on his face, would raise a lot of questions which I'm sure will be answered in the next book.

Higher, Book 2, 4.5 Stars
Let me just say that this man can grovel with the best of them but somehow it's never quite what she's looking for. He can't lose her. She's his everything. She thinks he doesn't love her and that he's obsessed and thinks of her as his possession. If he never lets her know all of him and trusts her with his truths, what they have is just sex and that's definitely not enough. He can't talk about Farrah because he signed an NDA six years ago. Foolishly he waits a very long time to tell Bethany that.

I love the story of Zachary Savage, owner of the Indigo Lounge and events planner Bethany Green.

Wow.... and not in a good way! What is it about the second books in this series?! It's like the first books are Amazing and you love the characters and stories. Then the second book your excited to see what happens to these characters you've invested your time into and...their not great....super disappointed. High and Higher was Zach and Bethany' s story. The first book was a hot, great read, loved the possessiveness of Zach but the second book had to much drama and angst and just fell short. Same with Spiral and Soar your introduced to two completely new characters who are not in the first books, so already weird right? Spiral is a good read, starts out grabbing your attention, you love the characters more then the first two books and then BAM!!! The characters you love become TSTL, the story nose dives and your skipping HUGE sections of the book because you are beyond annoyed at these two characters and the direction the story took. I'm not even sure the author knew which direction she wanted the characters to take. Would I recommend these books? If you read my individual reviews of the first books the answer is yes, but after reading them all (well at least first four) I have to say no. No don't read these if annoying characters (not in the beginning, bipolar much), h that act tstl, story lines that deviate from original plot to crazy town, cliff hanger's and endings that will leave you unsatisfied DO NOT READ or do if these are traits you enjoy in your books.

I'm so glad I got read all these in a box set or I wouldn't have read the 3rd & 4th books. I encourage you to buy the set. The best deal. I'm off to read the 5th book. I'm hoping its as good as the first two.

Ok, where has Zara Cox been hiding???. I read the first IL book High and bu the 3rd chapter went back for the boxed set. 36 hours and 4 books later, I'm still jonesing for more and looking to buy Spin for my fix. She has a great way of keeping her audience captivated with sparky and intelligent heroines, alpha/tortured males (who just want to be loved despite their flaws), robust secondary characters, an exemplary vocab (finally) and a vivid imagination. I'm thoroughly addicted to her books and not sorry about it in the least. Ive got a 13hour flight in a week and gonna stock up on Ms. Cox. I may br re-reading a few but who cares? Just hope my fellow flyers can hang on once I'm in the High zone again...hmmm maybe get my honey to join the club......?

What would you do if you were offered a chance to board the flight of a lifetime?
Ms. Cox has colorfully managed to wisk readers off into the wild blue to parts unknown in one of the most Regal sensual story tellings of all and of course she does it by incorporating one of my favorite colors... (purlple which is the color of Royalty and for many, Sensuality).
If you haven't had a chance to purchase your boarding pass to this awesome read, THEN...here's your chance-- by snagging your set of the Indigo Lounge set/Series. Just add the set to your cart today. You'll be glad you did.

I like the story. I like the characters. However...I hate cliffhangers. The first two could have easily been one book. And as an irritant that frequently disrupts the story, this needs serious proofreading. And really, some of the duplication of characters' thoughts could have been eliminated. After about 50 pages, we get it. And the last 2? Not so great. Not sure why these 4 were lumped together.
