This book evokes the feeling of reading art

This book was an unexpected "find". It truly is like reading art, pulling readers into a world of magic with words that melt the edges between fantasy and reality. My only disappointment is that the mystery was not resolved at the end of the first book. However, this disappointment leaves me delighted in that there is a second book in the series that will keep boredom at bay on a pending long flight to Africa.
