What she hadn’t counted on was fate intervening and our worlds colliding—again.
The day I showed back up in the life of Chloe Griffins, I knew I had to have her again. My body was hungry for another taste. Like an addict, I’d been craving another hit for months, and there she was—flesh and bone, tits and ass.
The fact that she worked for the competition should’ve been reason enough for me to leave her alone. I had a job to do that summer and f*cking Chloe wasn’t part of it. But I was like a man possessed.
I’d do whatever it took to have her again.

Review
Elisabeth Grace masterfully unfolds a story unlike any other. Fully of everything you want, love, lust, and turns at every point. - Author Corinne Michaels
I have been totally obsessed with this series. It's sweet, loving, it has mystery and suspense, and hot as hell! My heart just goes out to this couple. I was in tears at the end of this book. I hated to see it end, but the ending was so amazing I couldn't help but cry. This is the first books from this author I have read, but she now has a fan for life! - SB Morales, SBM Book Obsession
If you are looking for a quick, hot, and satisfying read that does not skimp on characterization, development and details, look no further than the Indiscretion series. Elisabeth Grace knows how to write great characters and great chemistry. I was happy, I was sad, I was frustrated and I whooped for joy. You get it all. - Michelle from Book Briefs

About the author

USA Today Bestselling author, Elisabeth Grace, has a hot spot for alpha males and a soft spot for happily ever afters. She lives outside of Toronto, Canada with her husband, two small children, and killer cat. Her theory is that Satan himself spawned the white furball. She's almost always eaten a chocolate bar before 10am (don't judge) and has a mild, but healthy obsession with model David Gandy. ;)
If you're a lover of romance novels, hot sex in obscure places, alpha males, and a little LOL on the side than you may enjoy her work!
She LOVES talking with fellow readers about books! If you're the same she encourages you to reach out to her via one of her social media links!

I loved Chloe. She's SO NOT looking for a relationship and she has no illusions of happy ever afters. She makes an effort at avoiding situations where she could get hurt. She's NEVER considered a casual fling or hook-up. Chloe is a serious, driven 28 y/o real estate broker. I loved her confident, independent personality. She doesn't take risks and I liked that she's friendly but not flirty. She always plans ahead...she goes through life with a plan in place and never does anything spontaneously. I loved her strength of survival, obligation and commitment.
Max Richfield fights NOT to be a product of his wealthy upbringing. He's a confident testosterone menace who always gets what he wants. He's the full package....tall, dark and deadly handsome. I liked Max's character. Everything about him....he's intense and commanding...but he's also genuine, respectful and kind. He's a good person with a good heart, tired of disingenuous women throwing themselves at his money.
This was a great story told in first alternating persons. The characters were detailed and described with great precision. I loved how this story made me feel...like everything is hunky-dory but you can detect the undercurrents of disaster sneaking in the back door. There's an explosion getting ready to blow. You can feel the moment getting closer and I was holding my breath waiting for the moment. It was frikkin' great! Ms. Grace made it easy to connect to our two protagonists. She has the wonderful ability/talent (or at least this humble reader thinks so..), of conveying and portraying and unfolding each dramatic scene to its zenith with technicolor and brilliant clarity building to a fabulous ear splitting crescendo. Before the reader is even aware what has happened, Ms. Author has you captured and enthralled with the storyline as it deepens and the romantic plot thickens. There are serious moments...and moments of awakening...like when Max realizes he's allowed his tragic past to dictate his future or how he lives his life every day trying to gain approval from his father. Or dealing with serious illness. And there were humorous moments...like when Max walks into Chloe's office while she's under her desk with her heinie in the air searching for a electrical socket and he get's a perfect view of her red panties when her skirt rips. There were few misspelled words or words in the wrong context like...."than" when it should've been "then" or "led" instead of "lead". Stuff like that. The romantic scenes don't overpower the plot. They're erotic and tastefully laid out. There's not too much adult language. The worst catastrophe and disappointment was not getting the fabulous Ms. Etta James name correct (..it's Etta...not Ella). The song "At Last" is correct...but the credit is given to someone named Ella... (I can only assume Ms. Grace meant the great Ella Fitzgerald). Still, a brilliantly told, feel good story with a wonderful epilogue.
I must admit that I enjoy this story a lot more than I thought I would. I was expecting to be entertained, but not to be pulled in the way that I was. Chloe meets Max in NYC while out celebrating her BFF's upcoming nuptials. Completely out of character for her (complete with the confidence of alcohol), Chloe hooks up with Max in a private room while both are fully dressed. They have great conversation and one thing leads to another. While neither get undressed, she leaves the room (and the club) well satisfied while Max is left out to dry - both literally and figuratively. Months later he reenters her world in Maine. They eventually agree to have a summer fling where no feelings are to get in the way. We all know that this is futile, but it's oh so entertaining to witness. They get themselves into some very unique situations as their feeling slowly become apparent. There are a few misunderstandings and close to the end - near devastation. It all does work out for the best in the end. I loved the fact that these were 2 strong characters. Neither are dependent on others for survival in the way most other books portray their characters. While both have baggage that made them into the people that they are when they meet, it's their time together that has them growing as individuals and as a couple. It's ultimately a feel good with hope. I'm so glad that I picked this one up. I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
