Buyer Be Aware...

I ordered the physical disc, because there is no information provided about downloading the program. Like, how many computers it can be installed on. Or, what would happen if I needed to reinstall it. Would I have to buy it again? The disc arrived, and it was not in a box, as pictured. The case was closed by a round piece of tape at either end. I tried to take off the top piece, and it was attached to the plastic cover, and the paper. So, it ripped. Nice. The disc was for MAC only! It said requires Quick Time, but I tried to install it anyway. Just in case. The cover even said it was for PC's! Despite that obvious lie, I ordered a replacement. The second disc arrived. Still, no box. It was also for MAC only. You'd think, they would have bothered to check it before sending it. Considering, what happened last time. I guess, everyone else downloaded their versions. Which, looks like the best bet.

I got this for my kids. We homeschool and while my wife and I both speak Spanish to varying degrees we wanted something else, and preferably something more interactive than a text book. This fits the bill. The kids love it, they really enjoy speaking Spanish into the microphone and seeing if they got the pronunciation correct with the audible tone directly afterwards. You are able to create different profiles for each person so your progress is saved. For the price, I think this is a great starter to intermediate Spanish language teacher.

Only works on windows 10 with quicktime, which won't download.

This product says its compatible with windows 10. What it doesn't tell you is that you must install quicktime player when you try to open the program, then provides the download link. Click on the link, it gets halfway through downloading then the error message pops up. QuickTime cannot be downloaded and is no longer supported by apple. I tried everything to no avail. Complete waste of my time and money.
I'm using a brand new laptop with windows 10. It might work for MAC but don't waste your time if you have a newer windows system.

Pretty happy with this product, I had one like it several years ago for Windows XP and I enjoyed that I could click on a word and it would pronounce the word in Spanish and I like the fact it has a meter to show when you speak into the microphone if you're new or fluent. You can learn the numbers, the alphabet and it gives you test to see how well you are learning. Worth the money

This course is easy to install and use. With a microphone, I got one from Amazon for like $4, the software will display how close your pronunciation is to a natives using a gauge similar to a speedometer. The whole thing is intuitive. I also picked up a phrase book from Amazon for $2 so I can study during breaks at work.
