This one I can relate to in a few ways, my grandfather served with the 2d Infantry Division and was a Infantry Rifleman during WWII, as well as being from the Washington, DC area. So was great reading about a fellow Washingtonian and his times during WWII and later with the FBI. An awesome read..you won't be disappointed !! ( also my Uncle Ralph served with the 42d Infantry Division during WWII, a rifleman as well and came back alive, but less one leg to a German land mine. )
It is extemely well written - easy to read and provides a view from the foot soliders presepctive of what war was like on a day to day basis in very human terms that everyone can relate to - A must read.
Thomas Smith - thank you so much for wrtting this book and capturing everything that happened to the men of the 94th before it was lost forever.
