About the Author

Michelle Dennis lives in Perth, Western Australia; she has always loved reading and in the past few years this love has expanded into creating her own written words and worlds. Michelle has a love of medieval and fantasy creatures, and her first book, Wolfbaene, revolved around this theme and brought the world of knights, castles and dragons to children around the world. Michelle is a devoted wife and mother, and fits her writing schedule in around her busy lifestyle. She is currently working on a sequel to Wolfbaene, and when she's not in the world of dragons and other mythical beings, she can be found listening attentively to the other characters in her head, who are shouting for her attention because they want their own stories to be told. Michelle shares her home with a very mature Dachshund named Phoebe Rose, a whole pile of cats who are under the impression they are the owners of Michelle's home, and one small rabbit who is under the impression he's a cat.

Infinite Completion is a beautifully written novella, where you can see Dennis is a complete romantic at heart. Although I thought Abbie and Valentine's relationship moved a little too quickly, I thought to myself that well...sometimes love moves fast and that's okay.

I enjoyed that Abbie was an easily liked character, as was Valentine, but I thought towards the end that Abbie was completely blinded and stubborn...she wanted Valentine to come back to her, but SHE was the one saying no, so that was slightly frustrating for me personally.

If you're a romantic and enjoy a sweet read, than Infinite Completion is the one for you. The characters are easily identifiable, the writing doesn't overcomplicate things, and the story premise is creative...I'm keen for Book 2 to see how Valentine feels about Abbie's relationship with Zane, especially given he thinks they were 'together'...much to see how everything pans out!

Twenty-Something Abbie stumbles upon love, but is it as good as the romance books she reads? Motor-bike riding, tattoo-covered, singer, Valentine is the epitome of the type of man her mother has always warned her about. Abbie led by her heart, and intuition (who rarely agree!) falls head over heels. The romance scenes are just so immediate, when Abbie's got her arms wrapped around Valentine on the back of the bike, you feel you're right there with them. But true love never runs smooth. Valentine, street smart, and older has a past, that's set to clash with Abbie's ideal future...and then another character is introduced. Abbie's torn between so many things, I felt for her! I won't give anything else away except to say, hurry up book 2! This book took me back to my own 20s, and all the conflicted emotions first love brings. Loved it.

Abbie loves reading romance books to replace the love she feels she has missing in real life. Then she goes to a club with her girlfriends and meets Valentine the lead singer in the band playing at the club. As far as Abbie is concerned real life does not mimic romance novels, so the quicker she gets Valentine out of her thoughts the better she will be.
The more I read the more I realized I may have misjudged Valentine and his intentions where Abbie was concerned. If you had to choose between having children or be with the man you love which would you choose. I can’t understand why Valentine believes what he does where children are concerned but suddenly there is no decision to make as it’s taken out of Abbie’s hands. Abbie has let her past ruin what she may have had with Valentine.
Zane comes back into Abbie’s life and tries to help her, eventually asking Abbie to marry him and as much as they love each other and Zane’s shock admission on who he really is Abbie is dtill not sure it will work between them.
In the meantime Valentine comes back into Abbie’s life and just as she thinks everything will now be better she wakes up to devastating news about Zane…then I read the words…’to be continued’ and felt devastated myself.
Lucky for all of us Ms Dennis is not going to keep us waiting long for the next book and what happens to Zane.

This is a bittersweet new adult romance set in my home town. It's both funny and heartbreaking, encapsulating the drifting mindset of romantic Abbie the bookworm as she falls in love and nothing goes to plan.

Now, that's not to say the story doesn't have a happy ending - though I won't say who with, or how, for that would be a spoiler and I don't do those. Yet it does leave the door wide open for another book...

I like that Abbie isn't perfectly well-adjusted to life. She has doubts and anxiety and a host of issues from her past. It gives her narrative a dream-like quality that makes this an unusual read. It's not a book full of descriptions of physical sensations - action and dialogue keep the story moving smoothly.

A lovely light read.

Abbie is like a lot of us. She lives and dreams about the book boyfriends she reads about. Her mother's words of wisdom about men has her questioning real men. That is till she meets Valentine. His charismatic words and deadly body makes her fight a losing battle between her mother's advice and her intuition. The world Michelle has created walked me through the my own memories of the what if. A beautiful story of love, loss and redemption with a sweet touch of happily ever after.
