Infinite Dark is an effective blend of psychological horror and science fiction. Strongly influenced by Dead Space and Prey, emphasizing the human will to survive against insurmountable odds. For a series that was created out of the writer’s own battle with depression, it has some surprisingly touching moments tossed into the darkness.

Starts rolling from the first page and doesn't stop, illustrates the dread of death and nothingness in an completely original way as well as the feeling of overcoming it.
Volume 1 has me excited about the next one.

Honestly I kinda liked the premise of the comic...how to survive when the Universe has literally ENDED....but I'm afraid for me it just didn't work.

Great book that tackles themes most comics writers won't touch, Infinite Dark deals with the heat-death of the universe, the existential horror of the void/entropy, and how survival in the darkest circumstances can sometimes be the most important virtue of them all. Anyone with a healthy amount of appreciation for sci-fi will love the first element, while anyone who has lived through, or is currently living through, mental illness will understand the latter two. Everyone else will still enjoy the horror aspects, and the fantastic art done by Andrea Mutti. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and can't wait to read Volume 2!

Infinite Dark is a great read! One of the biggest problems with comics in this readers humble opinion is the lack of initiative to tackle the big fundamental questions in life. Infinite Dark while not perfect attempts this in some way. With the universe being over it tackles the implications of truly being in them most hopeless of states and fighting against the darkness.
While the book is not without it's problems it at least attempts something few comics try. For that reason alone it comes highly recommended
