About the Author

L.E. is the author of Infinite Devotion, a reincarnation fantasy and the second of the Infinite Series. She received her degree in Animal Behavior, which to her father’s prediction, she only uses to raise her two ‘spirited’ children and menagerie of animals. She loves so many things and now writing is the passion keeping her up at night and her excuse for not cleaning the house.

In the intrum of waiting for book 3, I've read 8 books after Infinite Sacrifice and Infinite Devotion and I still can't get them out of my head. Waiting for Infinite Loss to come out, feels like a kid waiting for Christmas. I recommend Infinite Sacrifice and Infinite Devotion to everyone. It's one of those series that you just don't want to put down. I've cried and smiled through these books. Each story is so intriguing. This would make a wonderful television series. Reading this transports you to so many worlds of the past with details along the way to show who each soul/character is in each life. I'm not that religious of a person, L.E. Waters doesn't make you feel uncomfortable about that. As she says this is her idea of what it would be like, and it's told through a beautiful collaboration of stories. Her 1st person narration is wonderful, I was sucked into each story line. The first one Infinite Sacrifice is still free and I reccommend it fully, as I do for this second installment.

Found this book to be wonderfully written and absolutely captivating. It flowed seamlessly from the first book. I am looking forward to the 3rd book. Waters did an amazing job starting from the begining. The timeline has a very historical feel to it, makes you feel like it could be a true story. The details, which sometime can bore me, did not with this book. Painted such wonderful mental images that I can see this being an amazing movie. I am a little disappointed that the 3rd book is not out yet. It would be nice if writers would make one book instead of splitting the books up. I don't mind if the book is available immediately, I just have no patience for waiting to find out how the story ends! Looking forward to the next one! So please hurry it up! :)

Having recently completed books one and two in this series, I wanted to add my support for a genre that I hope takes hold and spreads like wildfire. Reading is my first love and my soul has been yearning for books such as this that have both purpose and meaning while also providing deeply satisfying entertainment.

As an independent author, Ms. Waters rises to the top with her richly researched and riveting historical fiction, but it's the bridge she uses between lives that gives it such depth of meaning and purpose. As each incarnation moves like a wave from form to formless, we are looped ever upward in a spiral action that moves the old form into a new energy. I love where this is headed and look forward to continuing the journey in book three.

I really couldn't put this book down. Proceeding seamlessly from book one, the relationships grow more complex—and more three-dimensional. What I didn't expect was the humor, the joy, and the playful spirit. Can't wait for the next one!

I received Book 1 of this Infinite Series as a free book, and actually held onto it for quite a while before it finally caught my eye in my kindle library this past week! I quickly became involved in the intriguing story line. By the time I had completed the first book, I realized I was not at all ready to say good-bye to this series. Luckily, books 2 & 3 were already available, and even better - a book 4 is said to be in the works, too (I hope this is still true)! I quickly purchased the other two available books (thus far, only 1 - 3 are for sale). I loved each individual journey; traveling alongside the main character as her soul evolved often presented stressful & challenging situations, each with their own individual trials & tribulations. However, as her soul continued to learn & develop in each life, it became more evident that positive progression was beginning to show amongst the characters. Realizing people were repeatedly appearing in multiple story lines, as different characters within each of the different groups of souls, was truly a delight - I loved when the author threw that into the plot! The charts following each life help with organizing the multiple lives, as well as to better enable specific patterns to emerge (including some less obvious ones I may have missed otherwise). Planning to start the third book tomorrow...great series, I definitely give the first two books in the series each a positive recommendation!

Brought to you by OBS reviewer Angie

Once again I am not disappointed. I could not put this book down until I literally fell asleep while reading.

Although I know that none of Maya's stories have a "happily ever after", I am always saddened by the tragedy the main character has to endure to learn the lesson of that life.

As the title suggests, Maya has to learn devotion in this book and she lives four lives to accomplish this task. Its interesting to see who will fulfill the recurring roles in her life. In her life as Luis, a young Spanish boy, he/she starts to have feelings of deja vu. Certain people and places seem familiar. She also seems to be getting better at understanding what she's supposed to learn.

In the first story Maya lives life as Italian Royalty. At first thought this sounds like the life of luxury, but the author, Waters, has certainly done her homework and I'm left heartbroken by all that this young woman must endure. It makes me more thankful for modern medicine and that I live in a time when I can be free to make my own choices.

I honestly can say that this is one of the best books I've read in a long time. It's a series of short stories so there is a sense of closure in one respect, but because you know that they're all connected you feel an overarching theme. Although there are clues in each story, at the end of each one there is a chart that shows who the characters were in each life.

In the epilogue Maya begins to understand things a bit better and Zachariah explains that she will have all the answers later, but not now. He also lets her know that she's not done.... So I'll be waiting impatiently for book 3. (I hope it's not titled Infinite Patience!)
