TDP Heat Lamps with large head size as far-infrared heating lamp by the U.S. FDA.
The heat produced by our Infrared heat lamp does not utilize high heating temperature, yet still allows excellent Infrared penetration through the skin.
TDP works with coil heat and a mineral plate (no light bulb needed). The Mineral Plate (6.5" in diameter, life span of up to 1,500 hrs) emits Far Infrared Rays when heated.
Please wait at least 10-20 minutes for heat. Typical treatment sessions should last a minimum of 40 min per area.
110V Detachable head - simply unplug the cord that connects the head and the main frame when replacing.

After preheating for 15 minutes, please allow an additional 5 minutes for the temperature to increase. 2) As a general guideline, the distance between the treatment surface and the heating head should be approximately 8-10 inches. Please note that the treatment time for a given session may vary depending on the condition being treated. 4) The heat lamp only provides warmth for therapeutic heat treatments. Please do not expect a higher temperature range as higher temperatures may cause the skin to overheat and burn. Higher temperature ranges will not increase the effectiveness of the treatment. Make sure the head of the lamp is pushed all the way in, into the stand housing.

When I first received this product, I thought it was defective (the head of the lamp didn't stay attached to the stand). However, after I started the return process I realized that the product wasn't defective at all. You just have to push the head of the lamp pretty hard into the housing on the stand. After realizing this I cancelled the return process. I am happy with this purchase.

Overheated and Melted

After using this daily for a year, the lamp stopped heating. Turns out the unit got overheated and melted the wires within the lamp. The plug that attaches the head to the rest of the unit is melted, as well as the plastic covering the knob. The entire wiring system is shot. I'm lucky this didn't catch fire and burn the place down. I have another one of these units that I'll keep an eye on in case the same thing happens. Will never purchase heat lamps from this company again.

Once this lamp gets going, meaning it heats up, it is great. However if you have limited time for preplanning a good 20 minute wait, this is not for you. I love how the lamp is designed. Once it gets hit enough, it works great. My only issue is the wait time. At first I was not sure if the timer and the power were connected but I found that the la,p will not get hot unless you also set the timer. Overall, for the price, I am happy with this because it looks pretty good, is not too bulky and feels great once heated.

I got this lamp about a year ago. I used this last year and this year hadn't use it for a while. When I use this a few days ago, I heard something and today I saw it was something actually burning in the head. OMG, it is on fire! See the pictures I took.

For those who have complained that theirs was not heating up & the seller is really saying it's not supposed to get hot, it's simply not true. It should and does get hot.

When it first arrived in August it worked. It is now September and the unit has a greatlt reduced output probably less than 10 percent. You can barely feel anything after 15 minutes even directly under the head. They say 1500 hours but I figured I got maybe one hundred hour at best.
