I’ve been using these daily for a few weeks and they work great. Due to the tiny holes, water gets in, but leaves do not get out. The size gives tea leaves room to expand and release flavor. The hook makes it easy to remove from most containers/mugs. The tray keeps my countertop clean and provides a place for the infuser to sit until I make a second batch with the same tea leaves. Also, it is easy to clean.

Update:Shortly after posting this, the seller reached out and refunded my purchase. I still use the one tea strainer that actually HAS a chain and hook and it works just fine. I’ll upgrade my review to a 3.I didn’t even get a chance to use it before the hook that secures the tea ball to your cup, FELL OFF!!! What’s worse itls that 98% sure it fell down the DRAIN!! So now I have a useless tea strainer that I never got to use!! My mom has a tea ball from the 90’s that is sturdy, and REAL quality. This fells cheaply made and the quality SUCKS!! Unless you enjoy waisting your money, I wouldn’t buy this. If I could give it a negative star rating…..I WOULD!!

These have screw tops that open and shut easily. Very nice engineering! I use it for rooibos and I never get any little bits floating in my tea. I also find these big enough to make a nice strong cup of Barley tea.
Also, they are very easy to clean!
