A Die Grinder from harbor freight will set you back 15-20 bucks. I've had a few of those be DOA, so now you're driving back, arguing because of course you lost the receipt, exchanging it, irritated, driving home, using it having it break mid-job, and rinse-repeat.
It's worth it to pony up the extra dough. I'm over a year with this little guy and it works perfectly as new. I wish I could find a gripe just so I didn't have to regret all the time spent buying and returning crap tools over one of these -it really is that good.
The die grinder worked exactly as expected, and I got the item at a bargain through Amazon.com. I was very happy with the product's performance and with the price.
I have used the die grinder a lot since I received it, and it gives consistent, dependable performance.
I recommend that anyone who needs a good die grinder that is dependable get the Ingersol-Rand 301. For the best price, I recommend Amazon.com or one of its affiliates.
I would not hesitate to order other tools through Amazon.com. Their partners--other companies who sell their products through Amazon.com--I have found to be trustworthy and eager to help.
Two thumbs up, and a 5-star ratings from this user on the product, delivery, and service.
I love this right angle unit just as much if not more so.
Performance, Fit and finish are great.
I don't much care for the safety catch but......
After 5 years the nut that keeps the head tight against the body and handle loosened and stripped the head threads off. This killed the tool and I purchased a Cornwell gearless right angle die grinder to replace it. I used and liked the tool, but do not like the hypoid gear design that limits the tools longevity.
