This tool works well for me. Vibration makes my wrist sore if I use it a lot, but I bought it for limited hobby use. Composite tool would be better for professional use. My 2.4HP compressor can't keep up with it, but that is not a flaw of this tool, just a consideration. Of course this is made in the PRC now, but for the price, I guess that's what you get. This does not come with hose fittings; also not a flaw, but a consideration when purchasing. It runs cool and smooth grinding away sand cast mold marks and blending casting imperfections with 2-inch sanding discs.

I work in welding and metal fab, and use this tool on a daily basis, mostly with 2" Roloc style discs for light deburring of mild tube steel. It gets a considerable amount of use and performs flawlessly, although I do keep it well oiled. I did disable the safety feature, so sometimes it will walk across the table if I'm not paying attention how I set it down. It gets a big thumbs up.

This is exactly the same as the MAC tools grinders. I have both and these work the same and are half the price of the MAC ones.

This will outlast the knock off models by far. I've burned through numerous Chicago Pneumatic Brand Grinders while this one continuously outlasts them all. Well worth the extra money!

Good grinder. Haven't had to buy one in 20 years. Hope this one lasts that long.

Small in size, runs fairly quiet. Likes air tool oil. Standard collet size. Every one that has eyed it at work, has said they need one of their own.

Delivered on time and in perfect condition.

When I first started working in a garage, I was told by many of the master technicians to pay up for this specific brand and model. They all have one and many were a few years and still acted like they were brand new.

This is my second IR 301B purchase (this is a gift to my father). This grinder is tough, very durable and is extremely easy to use. I love this one because of the angle. I will not buy another grinder. You won't find anything better for such an amazing price. Matco is pretty comparable but more, and don't get me started on Snap-On.

This is the best die grinder I have used and it's such a great deal.

Already saved my butt cutting-off a few winter deicer corroded bolts and mounts. Good speed control. Will be buying IR air chisel because of experience with this grinder.
Update: Have also used this with a polishing/buffing pad set and still happy as could be. Also works great with sanding disks for quick resurface on brake rotors.
