Another wicked surge of energy flows from him into me. Pain. Pleasure. Bliss. My jaw unclenches as my lips part. I make a small, breathy sound as we dance. Brennus responds with something close to a growl. “Ye’re killing me, mo chroí,” he murmurs. His hand moves down my back infusing me with a golden glow of power. My wings punch violently from me, tearing a hole in my day dress. They spread wide, like a red stain beyond my pale skin. I’m dancing now for the thrill of it. I follow his lead.
As the song comes to an end, Brennus kisses my throat. He whispers in my ear, “When ye get back, come find me, mo chroí. I’ve healed ye...now wake up and banjax whoever banished ye here...”

The book was almost a three year wait, I absolutely love the other books and the characters are dear to my heart, by this point I would say I have read them all at least three times in anticipation of the finale. Was I disappointed? Unfortunately, yes. I thought this one was full of adventure and lots of much needed answers....however, I'm a reader who likes a good conclusion, a strong epilogue and Amy Bartol doesn't like to provide that. At all.
I've rooted for certain characters, and for one in particular and I feel that character never received a true HEA. There's always too many questions, always too many things in the way.
So I didn't whole heartly love the book as others have, I was a bit put out by the WTH is that suppose to mean ending? Does any of her work actually feel finished? I think the fans are due at the very least a Epilogue Novella because I for one am tired of feeling like I have no closure with her writing style.
In conclusion, I feel like I'm left longing for a true finale to this love story. I give Ms. Bartol her due that she can write her butt off and I loved to hear from all my characters again...however the ending is once again a bit open ended, inconclusive and has a unfinished feel. Don't get me wrong worth reading for sure, but be prepared to not have that deeply satisfied feeling from a good epilogue that wraps up your story and gives you closure to say goodbye.
I need a finish. I need an end. She does not provide this.
I unfortunately can not read any more of her books until a series is finished and I can see from reviews that it is a complete ending.
So no more Amy Bartol for me.
When Evie finally sees Reed, she ask about her father. Reed says that he ascended and is with her mother. She asks " is he happy?" You never knew your mother, why didn't she ask about her mother?". Evie and Tau were supposed to have a conversation about ther Mother, but they never got around to it. Even if it was brief, they should have talked.
Brennus and the rest, were turned back into Faries. They talked about the faries a few times, but nothing in debth. They should have expanded on what their duties were in all of this. Besides the magic, what eles did they do? Her turning all of them, I guess balances out Heaven.
I love the scene with Evie and Finn about Molly. She's still on the run. I thought that Finn hid her some place. He should have known where she was. Now they have to hunt for her. It would be nice for Finn to have a partner. That was left open. Maybe if she creates a Novella, she can address if they find Molly and what happens to her.
Xaiver sucked!!! I'm sorry to say. Some guardian he was. He left her to sacrifice herself in all her previous lives. The only thing he did was save his own skin. He got what he deserved in the end. I hate that his wings and skin was pulled from his body, but he seem to accept his fate and that made up for everything.
I guess I wasn't really surprised that Xaiver was re-assigned and that the Heavens made Reed Evie's guardian. I would have like to have Evie asked "what did Xaiver say?" Or If Xaiver passed along a message to Reed to give to Evie like "I'm sorry or something?" But I guess him sacrificing himself (more like he got caught) in Sheol and killed was enough.
The ending left it open for a Novella. I'm glad that they all are back together. I'm very happy for Russell and Anya. I would have seen a scene with Russell and Brownie talking about her relationship with Preben. She told Russell that she would like to have experience being in love and I wonder if that's what she feels for Preben.
I'm glad that Brennus has his soul back and that he and the rest of the clan are faries. Brennus is "in love" with Evie, where Evie "loves him". I kind of feel sorry for him. But I love his character. It was never a dull moment when he was around. If Reed never returned, I'm not sure I could see Brennus and Evie together. I could see them having mutual respect for each other and having fun, but I couldn't see Evie giving her "heart" to him.
I like the way that it ended, with everyone back together. But I didn't like the last paragrah. With all of Evies past lives and life before she was created only Brennus knows this story about an angel and a farie and their people. About the angel turning into a human to save the humans. I didn't like that at all. I didn't like Brennus telling this story to Reed. Even if Evie ends up with Brennus because something happened to Reed, she will never love him. She could never be to him, what she wants. But I guess he'll take what he can get. Knowing Reed, he will check into this story. Him and Evie belong together. They both agreening to be bind together again, proves their love is everlasting. :-)

This is the final instalment in the premonition series. It picks up right where book 4 left off. Evie and Reed have all the odds against them now that they have turned their backs on Tau and his army of angels.
There is also a new (of old threat) that Evie has to deal with.
Evie has no idea what her mission on earth is or why she is there, with all her memories wiped she has to rely on her gut for guidance. However one mistake from an old enemy makes all the rules change.
This was a total rollercoaster from start to finish. Every page I turned I was scared as I didn’t know if anyone would survive or who Evie would choose in the end. It was a fantastic end to the premonition series and I was very sad to say goodbye to the characters.
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

I was completely captivated by the first 4 books & left obsessively awaiting any inequity updates!!
Seriously kid at Christmas over this book!!!
I wasn't left disappointed!
All of my favourite characters brought back to me bigger & better & still 5 books in I was on the edge of my seat biting my nails the whole way through this book.
I absolutely loved that we got perspectives from more characters in this book, it was definitely needed for you to be able to get the full story & put all the pieces together.
Now all I'm left unsure of is that ending!!!!
It's brilliant but left those tastebuds begging for more!!!!
The premonition series has been an awesome read the whole way through!!

Amy has yet again drawn me into evie and reeds world, and she brought along everyone else for the ride!
I can see a Russell spin off series happening, and maybe even a few other characters getting their own book.
Either way I'm so excited.
Now, yes the book ended. But will there be a sixth book?? You will have to read it to find out, but I do hope so!
Amy hasn't disappointed yet again. Will be reading the entire series again now :).
Well done amy you should be proud of this one just like the others. Keep it up
