blisters, now, 'tween my toes, fill me with running woes.
used body glide, vasoline, it seemed to do the trick.
but ultra running is my new race so these are my new pick.
went on a 26 mile training run, using these, had a good time-
worked out well, no blisters, yay! but 4 stars-hear my rhyme.
after a while it felt like someone was pulling these pretty tight.
cutting in between each toe-just didn't feel right.
will wear these for ultras and change here and there, when pain comes to abide.
but otherwise these fit great for feet that look as long as they are wide.
I have noticed that if you wear them without vibrams or shoes, that they do tend to wear pretty quickly and develop the little balls of material on the bottom - no holes yet! Since I like them so much and they're quite a bit more expensive than generic athletic socks, I've started only wearing them with my vibrams.
Don't wear these daily, only on special runs where i expect my feet are going to spend a lot of time wet. Don't know if they were truly worth the price or not, but otherwise i'm satisfied with them.
After doing several long runs in these socks I continued to love them. Recently I took them on a Spartan Beast that lasted over 7.5 hours. These socks were tremendous in the mountains with knee deep mud, waist deep water and over 17 miles. My feet were super comfortable and not a hint of a blister or foot pain. Can't wait to use them in Vermont on the ultra Beast, see they do in 30 + miles.
