What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? From the indomitable DC Comics and the makers of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat comes Injustice: Gods Among Us, a bold fighting game featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. A deep, original story compliments the fighting action that pits many of the great heroes and villains from the DC universe against each other -- Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others lose their allegiances and fight for Injustice!
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game that blends classic arcade style gameplay mechanics with an intriguing storyline that pits classic DC Comics characters against each other in unique combinations (hero vs. hero, villain vs. villain, etc.). The game is developed by NetherRealm Studios, and Ed Boon, of Mortal Kombat fame. Players can expect over-the-top action that is suitable for players of most ages, and a single-player storyline that provides the background for the unique character match-ups possible. Additional features include: more than 20 DC Comics heroes and villains, a variety of different attack levels, unique attacks for each character, multiplayer support, and more.

heehee....
In all seriousness, I have the Collector's Edition on order and will provide an extensive review of the game and the collectible statue. It's a shame that the movie, Justice League: Doom is a digital download and not a hard copy. Some editions I've seen had the single blu-ray disc of the movie in a paper CD sleeve.
It also looks like the UK Collector's Edition made out better than us here in the states. Their statue looks better with Batman choking Wonder Woman in the air. And they have steelbook cases. Even their packaging box has a nice window for those collector's who want to keep packages sealed and mint. The U.S. version is packaged in a box sleeve and you have to cut or tear the tape to even open it up to see the statue and check whether or not it's in good condition.
I've collected special edition blu-rays and DVD's with packaged statues/figurines in the past and the quality is not always consistent. There will be paint or sculpt issues/flaws. So it would've been nice to actually see the statue without needing to open the package.
REVIEW UPDATE>>>
Game was delivered in all it's glory yesterday, opened up the lid, pulled out the statue and immediately displayed it on my tower speaker. It's very pretty. And well done for a mass-produced plastic figure statue. There is some paint flaws on the back of Wonder Woman's hand and a plastic clip-off tear as if it wasn't a clean break from the assembly line. But other than that, the figure was well painted, sculpted and well designed.
On to the game. For starters, story mode is really good. Great voice acting (awesome to see Kevin Conroy voices Batman), good writing, cinematography. You don't get bored. Much better than a linear story mode where all you do is go from one fight to the next. There is a plot behind the fighting and not just mindless combat.
Controls are good. It's a plus to be fast on the buttons while mixing in special moves. Interacting with the environments are sweet and the special finisher type moves are well done. I've barely touched the service with all the various types of moves you can perform but it's a great game to dive right in. The beginning tutorial (which is optional) is definitely recommended to get your feet wet before taking off using your favorite character. The integration between the console and mobile game is cool. And the many various gaming options keeps the game fresh. Great game for the DC Comics fan or fighting game aficionado.
