Below is my original review. After dumping the water out, looking it over, adding new water (all from the tap which if filtered) the thing works like a charm! Nice stream of mist - even a little thicker than my 150ml. Better upward flow. Stays on all night. No idea what changed to "fix" it.
I guess if you have the same problem as I do try "turning it off and back on again" as they say. **shrug**. I'm loving mine now.

I have a 150 ml that puts out this lovely little stream of mist. It is perfect for my needs; a bit of moisture at night. However, it doesn't last all night. I like it so much that I went ahead and got the next size up I could find from the company - this product.
I get it all set up and find 2 things absolutely wrong with it. First the design flaw. The vent where the mist comes out is on the OPPOSITE side of the on off switch. It's on the side where the plug sticks out! Who thought that was a good design? I just turned it around, but now the plug hangs off the bedside table funny. Anyway, I can live with that.
The problem is that nothing comes out. I fill it to - below "max" line - (I don't need the full 300 ml), put it together, turn it on and . . . nothing. I can hear it going. I even checked with the lid off and it burbles fine. But NOTHING is coming out. In fact at one point I held my hand in front of the opening and it felt like faint warm air.

I purchased 2 of these 300ml diffusers and I am very pleased with them so far. What I like about them is that they are small enough to tuck away on a little corner shelf, they have the option to use the lights on bright, dim or none at all and they last almost all night on one fill. They provide a comforting atmosphere for my children's rooms where they are being used and the kids make sure I don't forget to turn it on each night along with they're Plant therapy kidsafe oils. I also own the larger 500ml innogear diffuser for the larger living space in my home and will be purchasing more in the future. The only thing I dislike is that I don't have an option to choose a mist level like I do on my other one. I would definitely recommend this brand of diffuser to friends, family and anyone else interested in buying a good quality diffuser for their home. Tha k k you innogear for making a good and affordable product.
