Great Disc but Not Durable

This is a great disc and as a intermediate player I got immediate excellent results with distance and flight.
But, also as an intermediate player, I sometime throw astray and hit trees, etc. what you need to know about the DX version of this disc is that it is not very durable. Being a high speed disc, it hits trees hard and fast, and the results are visible. Sometimes small chunks come off the edge of the disc, indentations, and even some splitting. After less than a month, the disc became more and more uncontrollable, turning and rolling, and the accuracy and distance was lost.
It’s only good as a “roller” now. If I had it to do over i would only throw it on long, open fairways. You can get a Champion or Star version that’s meant to be more durable (and expensive). But being careful would probably suffice.

I'm a beginner, but I've been using an Innova DX Destroyer as my primary driver and love it. However, it's fairly heavy (mine is 172 grams) and requires a pretty strong throw to make it perform well. When thrown correctly (level, with a slight up tilt on forehand flick) it will self stabilize and fly straight for 80 percent of the distance and then fade right (if thrown forehand -- I'm a righty) moderately. I should note that the DX plastic (as opposed to Innova's other plastic blends: Champion, Star, etc.)is fairly soft and will take significant damage if you hit rocks and such. I even impaled mine on a tree branch when trying to get out of the woods with a tomahawk throw (overhead throw with disc on edge)! It will go far and fast with a strong throw; also seems very resistant to crosswinds. I almost always use the forehand flick in actual drives (as opposed to practice) because I have better control/consistency that way. My backhand drive needs a lot of work. Note: I did not buy my Destroyer via Amazon, but it's the same disc as shown here. Good luck!

I like destroyer disc. I have yet to throw one that performed bad if I do my part. The few times that it didn't fly as well, I can honestly blame it on me. This disc is always in my bag and quickly became one of my favorite disc to throw when I play against my disc golfing friends in a friendly game at our local course. If your looking for a good dependable and predictable flying disc, look no more cause you found it. I recommend this disc to anyone trying to better their game.

Extremely soft plastic

Ok this is my first destroyer so this might be common for this disc so idk, but the plastic is extremely soft, I can dig a piece of plastic off the disc with just a finger nail.. but this disc is extremely stable.. it was honestly correcting some of my mistakes in my tee off, I was throwing it better than my boss .. it’s an awesome disc just please use better plastic.. I definitely will need to buy another one or couple because one game with the disc it looks like I’ve had it for a while., and definitely try not to hit any trees, you’ll get some pretty gnarly dents in the edge of the disc.

It is a 18 hole par 3 per hole (except hole #9) and my wife who played with me was amazed how stable each time this disc was flying towards the basket (hole) Old guys like me (61) need all the help we can get to be competitive out there on the course. you will not be disappointed.

Awesome disc as long as you know going into this that DX plastic is short lived, especially on a distance driver. A few tree hits, and this thing really starts turning over. A nice bomber when you find the perfect sweet spot in between overstable and understable in its wear-in period.

This is a super low quality disc. I don't know if they're all like this, but it is visible thicker on one side and thinner on the other. No matter how much i hyzer, it flips over. If I give it some height, it will actually do 2 entire flips.

This disc is awesome. A bit tricky a first you need a good technique to get the most of it. Only draw back is that you can't choose the color. Instead of being like the picture ( black with red marking), mine came purple and the drawing are like a rainbow.

So my buddies are craking up everytime I draw my "Purple-Destroyer-Rainbow style". I admit it's easier to find in bushes. But if you do get this color, make sure you can a solid 350 feet throw out of it otherwise you get some good laugh.

This is an fun disc. The 146g makes it easy to throw a great distance. Does exactly what the numbers say it is suppose to do, very straight with a little turn. The only downside to this disc is its weight and throwing in the wind. Obviously with such a light disc the wind plays with it and will kill your throw. Easily my favourite disc in my bag when there are ideal weather conditions.

frustrated. I ordered 3 discs. 2 arrived used and not even wrapped properly. I realize that when you place an order the company declares that you 'may' not get the colour you want but I ordered 3 different weights in 3 different colours that make sense to me and I received 2 white disc's and 1 dull blue. I don't want to spend over $60 for 3 golf discs (2 of which are use) and in general a mediocre product. I play in the snow. White won't work!!
