About the Author
Stephen J. Andriole is the Thomas G. Labrecque Professor of Business Technology at Villanova University where he teaches and directs applied research in digital technology management and emerging technologies. He was Di- rector of the Cybernetics Technology Office of the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the CTO and Senior VP of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. and CTO and Senior VP for Technology Strategy at Cigna Corporation. He earned his PhD at the University of Maryland at College Park. He is the author or co-author or over thirty books in digital technology and technology management and has published over 100 articles in refereed journals and 500 trade articles about technology trends and technology management. Thomas Cox is a Junior Consultant at AMR International where he helps provide growth strategy and M&A consulting services for multinational companies and investors. Thomas previously completed assignments on technology implementation at Deloitte consulting as well as drone development at Villanova's Center for Nonlinear Dynamics & Control. He graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in business & mathematics.
