Top customer reviews
-Comfortable: They are VERY comfortable. It's like wearing functional slippers.
-WIDE: This is important for me and I am sure for others.
-Durable: They have survived countless rope climbs, falls off boxes, road runs and lifts. 6 Months now and almost look new.
-Middle Velcro Strap: I've read on a few other reviews that others have had this problem. The middle Velcro strap comes undone sometimes. For me it's ONLY on double unders, probably the repeated landings. I haven't had the strap come undone any other time. The shoe doesn't move or slip however as the other two straps remain firmly in place.
I would 100% recommend this shoe to anyone looking for an all purpose Crossfit shoe. I personally may try the XF-210 (basically a laces version) if these ever break down but then I have to deal with laces getting in the way.
Another Note: Inov-8 has a warranty on the shoes so that if they get worn climbing a rope and they have "rope guard" in the first 6 months they replace them. VERY solid company.
*UPDATE - it's been almost two months since I've purchased these beauties and unfortunately, the top seam of the shoe has torn, its extremely upsetting because I honestly thought these were going to be my "Forever" shoe brand:(
a session. I realized that I enjoyed jumping rope bare foot so I wanted a shoe that would mimic that. I tried several different types of the toe shoes but always had issues with fit --- not to mention they looked pretty goofy on me.
My research got me to these and I've not looked back. I find them extremely comfortable and very stable on my feet. They're lightweight and thus far appear to be very well made with solid materials. The straps that are used in place of laces are fantastic because they allow me to get the exact type of fit I'm looking for --- snug or slightly loose. Knock on wood, I've not had any issues at this point with the straps staying put. They also provide me with a fair amount of protection if I happen to miss a skip while I'm doing double unders.
I like them so much I'm considering getting another pair in a different color as a backup just in case Inov-8 decides to drastically redesign them or something. Great shoe!
