Inov-8 Men's FastLift 335 Cross-Training Shoe
The FASTLIFT 335 has set a new standard in weightlifting as the lightest, most versatile weightlifting shoe on the market - weighing in at only 335 grams (under 12oz). The FASTLIFT features enhanced flexibility and innovative design that means you can keep your lifting shoes on without inhibiting your WOD performance.
UNMATCHED GRIP & FLEXIBILITY
Inov-8 demands intense grip from all products and the FASTLIFT responds with a unique outsole that utilizes suction cup-type construction in the heel for added stability while the inverse checker plate in all other areas allows for maximum leading edges for ground contact. With inov-8’s Meta-Flex groove in the forefoot of the outsole, the FASTLIFT offers category leading flexibility.
A NEW TWIST ON THE WEIGHTLIFTING WEDGE
With a total heel height of .75”, the FASTLIFT wedge is made of cylindrical tubes, known as the Powertruss system, that form an incredibly stable base and reduces weight without sacrificing power.
POWER AND FUNCTIONALITY TOGETHER IN ONE SHOE
When taking on an intense WOD, you don’t need to worry about changing shoes between lifts and other dynamic bodyweight movements (i.e. toes to bar, box jumps) with the FASTLIFT. The key is the functional design that keeps weight down and offers flexibility without sacrificing stability. The added External Heel Cage (EHC) provides enhanced lateral stability and internal comfort while the nylon ripstop upper can withstand rope climbs. With most weightlifting shoes limiting movement with a heavy, stiff base, the FASTLIFT is the first to offer this level of strength, power and functionality all in one shoe.
Extra structure in the heel provides power and support for weightlifting in this gym-ready cross-trainer.

Loved the look and the color, they felt great too after they were used a few times.
These were my first lifting shoes and I used them for crossfit (only during lifts, used my Nanos when not lifting).
I really wanted to keep these shoes, unfortunately I had to send them back after about 4 months of use. (about 2-3 times a week for 10-15 mins each).
Two reasons I gave them 1 star:
-Velcro started to fall apart.
-Inov-8 doesn't respond to customers.
-The velcro strap started to fail (see picture), the seam connecting the loop section and the hook section started to come apart on both shoes.
-After emailing the company for a warranty exchange, at their return email (firstname.lastname@example.org), I did not receive a reply from them after a couple days. I emailed them again after Amazon accepted the return (even outside of their return window), and still no response, its been over 1 week. I didn't even get one of those automated "we got your email and someone will be in contact with you shortly" replies.
I would have given the shoes a better rating had the issue been resolved, tossing it up to a QA issue. However Inov-8's complete lack of customer service has turned me off. They are dead to me.
We've got some folks at the gym that have these and have not had the issue I had, but I did see another amazon review with the same (and even worse) issue in a shorter period of time.
I applaud Amazon for picking up the slack and accepting the return outside of the return window as a warranty issue.
I'm glad I did.
I really den't have any cons to contrast with, but here are the pros:
-Snug & solid in the heel: My feet stay locked and my footing is solid.
-They look cool. Everybody is rocking the Nike & Addidas at the gym, and it all looks the same. My gear is fresh and different with sufficient street cred.
One thing you need to know is to NOT wear these outside or do cardio in these. The sole is a hard, solid surface meant to only to do one thing: squat heavy-ass weight.
Feel nice and firm and the heel made a difference in the squat. Felt nice benching too. Looking forward to more time with these shoes.
I have a wide foot and usually buy a 12.5-13, as wide as possible. I bought these in 12.5 D and they fit great. Possibly could have gone down a half size but i would have to have them side by side to test out. Anyway nice fit for a wide foot.
Seller shipped quick. With the sale price these are a no brainer.
Pros: I've used them about three times a week for six months now in Crossfit, and the quality has remained true. They took a couple sessions to break in, and they haven't deviated since. These shoes have really proved to me that lifters are very helpful for certain movements: any olympic lifting, wall balls, and any squat or thruster. I have a skinny foot in relation to its length, and I can really tell Inov-8's are perfect for that fit. It should also be noted that these were considerably less expensive than some of its competitors. I bought on Amazon for $135 when Nikes (and I'm a huge Nike fanboy) were going for $225. I can't imagine lifters being so much more valuable than my Inov-8's.
Cons: My only tiny gripe is with the tongue. Perhaps this isn't an issue with everybody, maybe it's just my foot, but after about 5-10 minutes of lifting, the tongue slides down about two inches. The velcro strap and laces don't allow the tongue to go down too far, but this is a slight annoyance. I like the tongue to be as high as they stretch because the shoes feels more comfortable.
The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and being so much more affordable than Nike and Adidas, these are a no-brianer for me.
This is an incredibly sturdy shoe!!!! My squats are deeper, heavier, form is like day and night. Deadlifts are the same story! I'm getting more reps in each workout and am not experiencing any joint pain the next few days.
Will continue to purchase my lifting shoes from inov8 in the future. Very pleased. Would LOVE if they would increase to a women's 12 as their largest, however, because I'd really love more color options and a slimmer fit.
