They are made from high strength, ultra light weight and corrosion-proof glass reinforced plastic. We use these on our FIRST Robot with 1/8" ID, 11/16" OD and 9/16" OD latex tubing (McMaster #5234K94 and #5234K68), and Samson "Zing it" line. They provides a clean inline termination when making springs from thick latex surgical tubing. We never had a failure all 2014 season.

Used these with 1/2" O.D. X 1/4" I.D black latex tubing for pole spears. At first, one pulled out, but after wrapping tighter with Kevlar line, everything worked fine. I was using parachute cord, which required me to drill the holes out a little. It all still worked great on a 5 day pole spearfishing trip to Bahamas.

I recently purchased a set of these wish bone inserts and I have to say that I'm less than impressed. There didn't seem to be enough "stem" for the constrictor knots to get a really good bite and I had one slip on me. To be fair, my knots do suck but I'd feel more confident in a full wishbone assembly. Someone else may have better luck.

***Update: I went ahead and purchased the real wishbone assemblies and had no issues at all when loading my gun. Don't waste you time with these.

Contrary to all 4 photos it only includes the plastic inserts, which seem weak and rather short. Could definitely see these snapping off as other reviews have said, going to not risk it and order something of quality with honest photos of what's included.
