There's a fine line between nudity and naked; erotica and pornography. Too me, the difference is only in the spelling. This story was suppose to be an erotic romance but it read like one of those cheesy sex novels you'll find at the airport. Charlotte is a 37 year old professor at a small college who in the very first chapter is out having sex with a stranger on his boat while she's on the phone with her husband. What's worse is the she's watching him look for her through the boat's window, ew. This all started because she got turned on by some guy that earlier had brushed across her nipple at his wedding. And her behavior just got worse as the story went on. "Do it now, fix it tomorrow," is her credo. The problem is that she doesn't believe anything needs fixing. I have many issues with this book, but the biggest one is the author cheap attempt at justifying Charlotte's actions by reveling her husband's cheating. What's good for the goose is good for the gander? Well in my book, if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig. Also, once the genie's out of the bottle, everyone's okay with her actions. The sex scenes, and there were quite a few, were hot and the cover art really shows the type of women Charlotte was. This is the first of three books and I only recommend it if you're interest in how the story is going to play out.

Hot , Hot , Hot , if your looking for an inside look of a women finally finding her self with a lot of explicit sex , you've come to the right place . All I can say is wow . I found out more about how a women might think then I ever thought possible . Right from the beginning Charlotte is trying to find out why she is doing the things she does , when she knows she could be hurting the very people she loves . There is a lot of hot sex in this story , if this is what you want you won't be disappointed , but if that's not your thing , don't read this book . This story will give you a lot of insight of what goes on inside the mind of women who is trying to find herself . I believe the author did a very good job of getting you to think about what this women is going through .

Story ruined by a main character who is thoroughly unlikable

I really wanted to like this book, and I did finish it, but I was so disappointed. Charlotte is thoroughly unlikable, and she never made me care what happened to her. If this is a young woman's attempt to "find herself," then she ought to be repulsed by what she finds. Charlotte is completely indifferent to the potential suffering she leaves in her wake. Her motto, stated many times throughout the book, is "Do it now, fix it later," which is certainly catchy, but the problem is that she never does the fixing. The only saving grace is that none of the people in this book are likable (Missy comes closest), so it's easy to shrug when Charlotte runs over yet another person in her life. In the end, the most important thing I got out of the book is the realization that rooting for the main character is an important component of any good romance, and this book lacks it completely. My level of interest in finding out what happens to her in Book 2 is exactly zero.
