How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

An overview of the Gestapo by an insider, although a minor insider who left Germany in 1939 and was hunted ever since I believe, the book seems to be in two parts and it is suggested that the author, a pseudonym, sent a manuscript to the publishers who then took it and added their own second part, its a fascinating read about the time and plenty of names mentioned but its not a historical document, and I fear much of its not entirely accurate, so I am told but as this man figured in my life somehow, I thought I should read it, he also went under the alias Korb, as well as his own name, Pfeiffer. The english is good so my theory of it having been put together by the English publisher may be true.

Overall, the entire book is worth the read. It gives you a nice (rare) perspective from someone who broke away from the Nazis at the height of their power. I have read a decent number of books written by 'former' high-ranking Nazis after the war, rarely do you get an account of someone exiting that circle during the early period of the war when their victory seemed much more probably. Apart from that, there is one part (for me, by far the most interesting part) of the book towards the end. Just before the Anschluss, the author claims to have come across documents that would re-write history. On its own, his claims don't hold much weight, but you can find a plethora of supporting evidence in other people's books. It is just a question of how deep the rabbit hole you want to go.
