Gary York's Real-world examples of prison crime and corruption are now being used in colleges and universities around the country. Recently, Dr. Joycelyn M. Pollock, author of Ethical Dilemmas and Decisions in Criminal Justice, used one of Gary's real life prison stories in this book as a case study in chapter 12 of her book. Dr. Pollock is a professor for the Department of Criminal Justice at Texas State University-San Marcos. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Albany, State University of New York, and her J.D. from the University of Houston. Dr. Pollock has written several other successful books and her book, Ethical Dilemmas and Decisions in Criminal Justice is now in its eighth edition and continues to be one of the leading textbooks in its field. She is also the author of Women, Prison, and Crime.
Gary has made presentations at Universities, radio stations and before members of the Florida Bar to share his experiences and promote awareness of prison crime and corruption.
