About the Author
Jennifer Tracy is a transformational speaker, whose mission is to save lives. With courage and grit, she continues to change communities one life at a time. Jennifer knows pain. The pain of burying a husband and child. The pain of being diagnosed with PTSD, something people can't see with their eyes. However, she also knows how to use pain as a way to create lasting positive change. Jennifer's programs teach others to do the same. She brings hope and solutions to the tough issues we face today. Solutions to suicide, impaired driving, grief, poor mental health, addiction and PTSD. Her studies at Metro State University of Denver that she finds most relevant to her business mission and enhance her programs include Human Services, Criminal Justice, Victimology, PTSD and Psychology. However, she feels the most useful degree she holds is her Honorary Doctorate in Real Life Experience!

For anyone struggling with or prone to depression, this is a great workbook! The chapters are short enough to feel manageable, even when you don't have energy to do much. The pages at the end of each chapter combine practical tools and questions to help you dig deeper when you feel ready to start that process. Jennifer does a great job of balancing hope with the gritty reality of what she faced, and she helps you start to see your own story with some of that balance.
For anyone who loves someone who is depressed or suicidal, Jennifer's story can give you a glimpse into what your loved one may be experiencing and ideas for how you can help them find their way out of that dark place.
This book will save lives. It gives direction that is grounded in the realities of someone who has been to the edge of life—and come back so that she can guide others likewise lost in their suffering, and without tools to be otherwise.
Jennifer Tracy honestly speaks about the horrors and very real tragedies she has faced—and survived, and it makes what she talks about here REAL. That Jennifer has gathered as much practical guidance, captured in the penetrating questions throughout the workbook sections, is a gift of life for anyone who is or knows someone who is thinking that suicide is the answer.
I can't say enough about the value of the insights from someone who has been there. This book from Jennifer Tracy offers hope, the gift of knowing we are not alone even when we most feel so, and is the REAL DEAL. It contains wisdom and perspective that WILL save lives. Thank you, Jennifer!!! Your book is a priceless treasure and lifeline!
