Wow, what an eye opener, everyone should see this documentary. This little fat man is nuttier than a fruitcake and these poor starving people have pictures of this maniac lining their walls in their homes where they have to show how much they admire and praise him, if they don't they will more than likely die.
I like this documentary and really admire the people whether in this documentary or any on NPRK that put their life LITERALLY in their hands to get information about the hardships people suffer under the Kim Dynasty, which is not communist but more of a Tyrannical leadership or to put it more accurately a Dynasty or Monarchy, because no one chooses them as leaders, they pass leadership from family member to family member.
One thing is clear to me... these type of Dynasties never last, eventually they will put themselves into war with South Korea as they did once before (though they do not admit they started it.) After watching many documentaries on the NPRK it is clear the idea that their enormously brain-washed society will rise up against him is not likely at all.
NPRK will have to be overthrow to reunite Korea, and on that day the people of the North will open their eyes for the first time, literally, and see they were totally deceived all for the sake of a few as....es who wanted complete control and to be worshiped as gods.
The video depicts life in North Korea and provides history as to its views on Western society. I show it annually to my students as they read 1984, by George Orwell. Although the video is dated, it provides a snapshot of how life is for the average citizen. I would recommend it to anyone.
It was good. But what can we really know about this hermit kingdom. In one way I am glad to see it dark in the night maps. We need areas that are not destroyed by floodlights, car lights, impossible building lights and whatever. Of course they are evil and cruel. The north is all death camps.
