Things I especially love: the juicy inspirational quotes; the type interactions section (which is a great reference for drawing distinctions between the types as well as discovering their synergistic potentials); the case studies at every turn; Wendy's instructions on her own unique typing method; the treasure trove appendix with its big idea summaries and charts.
InsideOut Enneagram offers a comprehensive, unique, and artistic approach to the enneagram. After traveling from cover to cover, it feels like I've been on a great adventure--my book tells the tale of my journey with its cracked binding, highlights, copious marginalia, and stickums waving from the edges.
It's one of those books I wish I'd written.
Hint: Make sure you also purchase Wendy's typing cards to accompany her book. (...and don't forget a yellow highlighter--to match the cover and citrus theme!)
Beyond its utility, it is well-written, engaging, and hopeful. I think Wendy's book is an achievement and am inspired by it.
