It is very important to point out that as its title states, SAT Critical Reading and Vocabulary is more than just a vocabulary book. Mr. Krieger provides 7 chapters on sentence completions that contain almost 300 excellent practice examples. The book concludes with 10 full chapters devoted to critical reading. I found the chapters on the characteristics of right answers and the characteristics of wrong answers to be particularly helpful.
SAT Critical Reading and Vocabulary is an outstanding book. In fact, it may be the best CR book that students and parents don't know about.
I'll be taking the SAT in May, so I'll update this review with my new score (I've had 660 in my two attempts, most of my incorrect answers were either sentence completion or tone/vocab related passage based reading questions).
