So, you’re here because something broke, didn’t it? Or maybe you’re building your next great masterpiece but realized precision isn’t your strong suit. Enter Insta-Cure Gap Filling Glue—the ultimate “don’t worry, I’ve got this” in a bottle.

This stuff works miracles on those “oops” moments, filling gaps like it’s auditioning for a construction job. Broke a mini? Insta-Cure. Hobby project in shambles? Insta-Cure. Existential crisis? Okay, maybe not that one, but hey, two out of three isn’t bad.

The 2oz bottle might not sound like a lot, but trust me, this is the glue that keeps going. It’s like the MacGyver of adhesives—sticking things together faster than your party cleric can say “Healing Word.” Just be careful, or you’ll end up gluing your fingers together (because we’ve all been there).

If you need a glue that doesn’t mess around, Insta-Cure is your new best friend. It’s strong, reliable, and frankly, better at holding things together than I am after a long week. Highly recommend for hobbyists, DIYers, and anyone who’s ever had a “what the heck do I do now?” moment.

Bonds things extremely well. Better than the other superglues I’ve used

I also use the thinner version of this in my woodshop, along with the Instacure spray by the same company. My greatest hack is that when I run short on trim, I can use this product to join the butts of two smaller pieces and make a whole, which completes my project, without running to Lowes for another piece of lumber. The trick is to cut the pieces at right angles, and then coat each piece with thinner CA glue, spray to set, which fills in the cellular structure so it no longer wicks out the glue, then coat one end, and spray the accelerator on the other end and join carefully, and its done! you've saved yourself from a run to Lowes!

One of the biggest issues with 3D printing, outside of printer reliability, software stability, and finding the right combination of speed and extrusion rate is build volume. I have a Makerbot 5th Generation and as LARGE as the machine appears to be, the total build volume is probably about 1/5 the machine's total INTERNAL bulkiness. DIY printers are usually not much larger, unless you are a SERIOUS builder.

Anyway, printing small things like brackets, fan covers, or little things is not a big deal. What if you wanted to build that cool Iron Man mask, or the full life-size suit? That would be super cool! But these printers just don't have the kind of build volume. I'm at the point where my designs are too large for the printer and I need a way to extend the size of my parts without extending my machine or buying something bigger. After searching the Internet for some sort of clue, I came across this, and I decided to try it. It's not a lot of money, but it's also not cheap, but I did do my first test today (with PLA). I did not sit there and wait for it to cure so I don't know exactly how long it took, but about an hour later, the two test pieces that I glued together are now one piece. Trying to pry the smaller piece away resulted in "breaking off the tabs", per-se. There is no gassing or rather, no vapor burns. I simply used the "drip" that occurred when I snipped the bottle tip. It went on the first piece rather heavy and I didn't think it would turn out well. It turns out, it went on like a small pool of water, then I placed the smaller piece. About an hour later, the pool of glue vanished, like there wasn't any glue. Now, they are just two pieces of different color PLA stuck together.

I think I found a winner for PLA 3D printed parts.

I've been using this product for a long time after my son told me about it being used to hold molding in place after a few seconds then nailed. It does exactly that and has many other uses as well. A great addition to my shop.
    fair price!

A number of weeks ago I pieced together glass for an outdoor lighting fixture. I used a different glue but it didn't fill in all of the gaps, so I got this Superglue to fill in.

Despite it being Thick Superglue, the glue still flowed rather freely.

This was a quick set Superglue despite it being a Thick Superglue.

It did do a good job of filling cracks just under 1/8th of an inch.

When using this glue you need to be assured that the upon completion of the dispensing, you need to do something to assure that the tip of the bottle doesn't plug off with Superglue. The best I have found so far is to keep the bottle upright in storage, and then slowly squeeze the bottle until air comes out. Tapping the bottle on a hard surface can also loosen up liquid glue that is in the spout.

If you find the spout plugged right before you are ready to glue something you can do one, or multiple of the following:
    1) Cut off more of the tip
    2) Stick a metal. larger sized paperclips into the top of the bottle.
    3) If you are unable to use a paperclip to poke into the top of the bottle because the glue in the tip has gotten too strong the last resort it to take a 1/64th to 1/32" drill bit and drill out the plug in the bottle.
