The Original Insta-pull all metal gear wine opener has a unique patented ergonomic design for easy use
Touted as the worlds fastest cork remover on the QVC Shopping Network, the Insta-Pull is also the cheapest of the lever-style wine openers. However, the low price doesnt reflect the high quality of this corkscrew: The Insta-pull has all-metal gears and an ergonomically designed non-slip polycarbon handle and received an "Excellent" rating by a top consumer magazine. To use the Insta-pull, crank the lever back to set the gear. Next, place the cork remover over your wine bottle and crank the lever up and down a few times to insert the screw or "worm" into the cork. The last step requires you to simply flip the handle up and back to remove your cork. Another crank of the lever while holding the grips together resets the gears and a final upward pull releases the cork from the Insta-pull. This cork remover is an excellent buy for wine lovers who desire a quality engineered product at a low price. The Insta-pull comes with a bonus foil cutter and additional worm and is covered by a limited 90-day warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Update - It has been a year now and it is still working. I want this to last, so I use it gently. The cork is always in one piece and it comes out in seconds. If this broke today, I'd probably buy another one. I can't even think about going back to a conventional corkscrew.
Update 1/14/15 - I've now had this device for over 10 years. It has broken a couple of times, but never to the point where I couldn't fix it. I've opened over a 100 bottles of wine with it. The key is to be gentle with it.
Therefore, when I saw the low price on this item, I bought 2 for a couple of friends.
I wish I hadn't gone so cheap. These are so poorly manufactured, I wont even give them away. Mostly plastic, every part is shaky qnd on the verge of falling off or apart.
Stay away from this item, very poorly made. I recommend a Houdini instead as a low cost alternative to the Rabbit, which is what I have now ordered twice and given away happily.
