Insta-Cure+ is a higher viscosity CA for loose fitting joints in which the adhesive must bridge gaps. Normally, the thicker CA is applied to one surface and then the parts are held tightly together for about 5 to 15 seconds. For large surface areas, including those with close fitting joints such as laminations, INSTA-CURE+ should also be used. To prevent premature curing, dont spread the glue into a thin film. Lay down a serpentine bead with about 1" separations on one surface, then assemble the parts, letting the pressure spread the CA out.

I love how fast it dries.. and I hate how fast it dries!
I use this product mainly to set Austrian Crystals. It is FAR superior to E6000 when applying crystals to rubberized or vinyl surfaces.
It dries quickly but not instantaneously which is a huge plus. Once this stuff sets ( I give it a solid 24 hours), you have a bond made of steel.
I never worry about crystals popping off. Instead I worry about them cracking from constant use!! This is especially important if you re-sell any of your crafts.
I was extremely doubtful that the cap was actually "no clog" BUT so far so good!! When I use it to apply crystals, I use a super fine metal tip that I push on to the end of the applicator tip (it goes on no problem) therefore having extreme control over how much product comes out. After I finish, I take a piece of wire and run it through my metal tip and the also bottle applicator (standing upright) therefore leaving a totally clear path to re-use both later on. I have even forgotten to do this and it has yet to clog.
The consistency is a bit thicker then the typical runny formula but not much.
The $8 price tag may seem a bit high but trust me, it isn't. It's actually a very generously sized bottle that (at least for my purposes) will last eons! AND, it ships PRIME :)
The thicker formula, on the other hand, just takes too long to dry, for my needs, and you pretty much have to clamp whatever you're trying to glue together when using it.
Then there is this formula. It's AWESOME. It's not so thin that you can't control it--it won't seep all over your project, and it dries quickly enough that you don't need to clamp most projects. And, boy, is it effective. I've used it on everything from rattan to velvet to ceramics to wood and plastic. It has never let me down.
I first encountered this magic stuff when I swiped a bottle from my husbands model ship building supplies. Needless to say, he never got it back!
I love and adore my Insta Cure - here's why: I often find myself attempting to bond the ODDEST things together.
Rubber + wood? No problem.
Plastic + paper? Yep.
Apoxie Sculpt + Polymer Clay? Absolutely.
Plus, I've discovered that when paired with FabriTac Adhesive, this creates a bond that I TRUST over time to hold heavy and awkward items together.
One of my very favorite uses: saturating the edges of cut and laminated layers of chipboard. Once the Insta Cure has dried, the chipboard becomes almost wood-like in it's ability to be shaped with sanding. Fantastic - no more fuzzy and fraying layers of paper fiber!
The additional working time, coupled with the almost gel consistency have made me a fan for LIFE!
