I used this to make a switch and gauge panel for inside my glove box. My car has a stock nav and central computer. I wanted to retain the stock look so I made a custom panel to the 3sixty controller, rockford bass controller, voltmeter, status leds for the isolation relay, a sub port for tuning the 3sixty, an hdmi in for output from my phone to the screens and other misc switches.
Ive used many metra kits in the past on all different car installs. There are some circumstances where a kit isn't made and you will have to build one. The material is strong and can support a full double din head unit. Easy score and snap characteristics of the material make it easy to work with. The material has a nice finish that looks good on its own but with a small bit of prep paints up quite well if you wanted to match it. fiberglass, fiberfill and bondo also adhere as long as you gouge the surface that you will be adhering the material to. Use cyanoacrylate instead of hot glue when bonding pieces. Hot glue always seems to give after awhile.

Super easy to work with, bend, cut, and mould
I've always been into custom car audio and 12volt projects but never been good with woodworking.Then along came ABS sheets. I needed to create an L bracket to mount a ham radio under my drivers seat in my truck. The factory bracket made the radio sit too high. I looked at aluminum strapping but it looked cheesy and made the radio more noticeable due to the aluminum color. So I had this 12x12 sheet of 1/8" on my bench and went to town. I was able to cut it with a knife and mould it around the body of the radio after heating it up with my mini torch. Super easy, looks staright from the factory, and is more solid than the flimsy mount that Kenwood supplied. I ended up buying 3 more sheets because I know I will be using this on future projects.Amazon had the best pricing for these sheets that I could find online. Do yourself a favor and buy more than one, you will find a way to put it to use!

I needed a switch panel for my kayak but Native is always out of stock and looks like they discontinued their switch panel cover so I bought this and cut it out. Very durable, stiff, and easy to work with. One side smooth and textured on the other side. Worked out great for what I needed it for.

I ordered this 1/8" ABS panel to install the button for my doorbell with the doorbell sign. People were having trouble seeing the doorbell. The doorbell was blending in with the wall. I cut the panel through the proper size and installed the doorbell button and sign. This is an exterior installation of the panel. The panel has worked perfect for this application. Very easy to cut just scored with a razor knife. Then sanded the edges. Very easy to drill.
