One went bad after a year, but otherwise good

I had two of the 530T installed (four doors) with my Viper 5704 alarm about a year ago. After about 8 months the front windows would roll down about 4 inches (vent) when I armed the alarm. The back windows wouldn't roll up or down and it took several arm/disarms for it to start working again. Twice I came out and found the front windows vented because I didn't notice them going down when I armed the alarm last. I ordered a replacement module, installed it in minutes using the existing plugs and the problem had been resolved. I'm sending the defective module back in hopes they will just replace it. This way if one goes bad again I'll have it on hand.

This is a great add on to any alarm system. Regardless of the state of your windows they will roll up when you arm the alarm. The module(s) connect to the negative when armed wire on your alarm. You can vent the windows a few inches by pressing the aux channel. If you hold the aux button down the windows will roll all the way down. Very nice on hot days so you can get the hot air out of the cab before getting in. Another great feature on the 530T is you have auto up and auto down on all your windows on using the drivers side controls. Once you have this feature you never want to go back to not having it.

If you're having these installed order them on Amazon. The alarm installers charge sometimes double the price.

Worked great for all the windows in my Toyota Tacoma. Keep in mind... if installed in each door for a Toyota you will loose the "window lock" feature because of how Toyota wires their windows.

I am in the south!! nuff said. It gets friggin hot down here. That on top of leather. Melted Cd cases, heat waves when you open the door feeling like an over. This works wonders. Crack windows on the way to your car and it lets out so much heat without exposing your car. I f you change your mind and at to let it back up, arm the car and they roll up(viper remote start)

This is my second experience with the 530T. The first time I bought it through an alarm shop and this time through Amazon. Both times the module worked flawlessly. At times with my first module, it would only roll windows up partially up from fully open so I would have to dis-arm then re-arm the alarm once or even twice to get it all the way closed. It may have just been sub-par car battery condition.
