This product does not meet my expectations. The adhesive does not even stick using a light curtain rod. I was hoping for something that would be easy and convenient, but these are now in a drawer. I am very disappointed.

Unable to use because it is too small and not deep enough for curtain rod needed for. I thought it would be bigger.

These are not deep enough to actually hold curtain rods. Simply put they don't work.

I wasted money on these, so find another product.

These are perfect to hold 5/8 inch dowels as rods for curtains or shades installed inside the window frame. As noted in other reviews, the self-adhesive feature is iffy at best. I positioned the brackets with the help of the adhesive and then drilled a hole through the bracket and into the window frame and secured it to the frame with a small screw. I have used them on 9 windows so far, and I have 2 more to go. I looked everywhere for a bracket that would serve my purpose. I was thrilled to find these!

I was excited to find these. I needed to use them on the inside window frame because I could not use nails. These did the trick just like I wanted. My rod and curtains were not too heavy so that might make a difference, I used tension rods. I will order a few more sets to have on hand.

...you were wrong.
If you intended to use the adhesive pad to hold the bracket up while you screw it to your surface, you are in luck. It will work great! You'll just need your own screws, a screw driver, and some DIY spirit.

I bought these in March of 2013, so i had time to test it.
I installed them first with the adhesive that came already on it, it did not hold, so i put a small screw to hold better
Is very small and strong and elegant, perfect to install cafe lace curtains with white slim rods from IKEA.
I knew what i needed and bought the right product, is very efficient and cheap.
Buying more know, because i am replacing those annoying blind by lace cafe curtains.

only worked on smaller windows. It is hard to get the curtain rod in. However, the windows it did fit worked out fine
