First impression..... and 2nd impression is now disappointment.

Just received the Zest 20cup(10cups cooked). Looks nice and lightweight. The base is the same size as my Tiger which is good cause I don’t have a lot of space so I’m glad it’ll still fit where I need it. I’m only replacing because the lid won’t snap close and wanting a bigger cup size but didn’t want to spend a lot. My Tiger 8cups cooked has been loved for almost 10yrs now. I hope the Zest will last as long.The insert seems like it’s coated, probably for the sauté use. I’m excited to try a different brand as I’ve always been loyal to Tiger. But I’ve been wanting to give brown rice a spin so with the Zest having a brown rice option, this’ll make it easier plus for me to cook both white and brown. I’m gonna test and see if the Zest will work with my knuckle measurements.Pictures of what included with the Zest. It needs a spoon holder Instant Zest! (Trust me, it’s a must have) also included a comparison of the Tiger 8cup to the Zest 10cup.I’ll review back after a few months when I’ve given this product a good test drive.Update: product will be returned. I didn’t realize there’s a silicon lip part inside the lid that collects condensation. Super annoying because when the rice is in keep warm mode, every time you open the lid, the collected condensation would spill into the rice making it soggy. Sorry, I’m alittle disappointed. I had some hope because there was some really good uses with the Zest but this draws the line for me. The Tiger brand doesn’t have this issue and the rice can be kept warm for a longer period of time w/o this condensation build up because they have a built in lid that collects it and when opened, that condensation will filter into the little condensation cup outside of the cooker.
