This was just what I needed to play old school Duke Nukem and flight simulators. Old software does not like to play nice with modern high performance hardware systems. The price of new old stock hardware makes building these older systems a win win situation. If you remember the early days and games of windows 95 or even windows 98 systems.....this is a clear cut and inexpensive way to go. Get it while you can, supply will dry up.

If you're looking for a replacement motherboard for Windows 9x, you're in luck. This piece handles just about everything's from that era perfectly. Just a heads up, this handles a slot 1 processor with a bus speed up to 100mhz. So it won't handle some of the Pentium III processors with higher clocks. I have not personally verified this, but it is what all of the documentation states. Otherwise, it was shipped very quickly and packed extremely well. Highly recommend this seller.

Upon receipt, the first thing I did was to check and replace the 3-Volt CMS battery, then installed the board into the computer. At turn-on the system booted normally. It has performed flawlessly since. I am elated. Saved my system and all software.
