I started to read the book to learn a little about the vagaries of intellectual property law and I still have it in my reference bookshelf so I can look up concepts as I come across them in my business. But what started as a learning project careened into page-turning reading. Alexandre Montagu has populated the book with major characters of our time - Google, eBay, the pop culture that surrounds us - and uses the dramas these amazing characters have been caught up in to teach us intellectual property concepts. He also points out the limits of the legal frameworks that various countries have come up with to govern rights (economic and otherwise) to ideas, originality and creativity.
The book is a great ongoing legal resource. But more importantly, it makes for fascinating, exciting holiday reading. Great job.
