Arguably it is more that a reference but reaches textbook status in that each concept is explained and discussed at (appropriate) length, its origins revealed and its clinical applixcation exemplified. It is concise, lucid, well-researched, thoughtful and well-written. A "must-have" for any student of Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy who derives any of his/her clinical work from Davanloo or the next generation of Davanloo-inspired theorists/therapists..
