It holds 21 eggs. I use mine to store extra large store bought eggs, but they will accommodate Jumbo size eggs, too.
The lid on the container is great because you can store things on top of them, unlike the paper or styrofoam cartons from the store. I keep a tub of margarine and some bologna or bacon in a zip lock bag on top of one of my containers so I can just slide the whole thing out and have everything I need for breakfast in the morning. And the handle on the front of the container makes it easy to grab the container and slide it out when needed.
HERE IS SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND TIPS THAT YOU MIGHT FIND USEFUL WITH THIS EGG STORAGE CONTAINER:
1) Remember to clean the InterDesign egg storage container (in a sink of warm water and dish detergent to which you can add a teaspoon of bleach to sanitize the container) each time you empty it before refilling it with fresh eggs, or you might contaminate the new eggs. Eggshells are washed and sanitized before being packed in the paper or styrofoam carton that they come packaged in at the supermarket. You should discard any eggs that have become unclean, cracked, broken or are leaking.Read more ›
since my chickens lay different sized eggs.
It's sturdy durable, and fits nicely in my refrigerator, and looks so much nicer than the egg cartons from the store.
I am very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend it.
First, the four egg depressions in the corners are too close to the edge. You can't get your fingers in there to get the eggs out. Second, the lid does not snap on - it just floats on the top. Consequently it takes two hands to get it out of the fridge without it sliding off and causing you to drop the container.
I will be looking for a simpler container with a snap-close lid that I can handle more easily.
It is a hard plastic, seems top rack dish washer safe. The lids (I got 3 of these)fit well on every one.
These stack easy with no issues. Easy to use and care for. I have no complaints about this one at all.
I highly recommend them.

Lid doesn't stay on and is hard to move around without risking breaking all the eggs.Published 6 hours ago by Heather G. Ryker
Clear, strong, can stack another egg holder on top of it. We buy bulk packs of eggs which are not covered in packaging, so we transfer them to this holder. Read morePublished 14 hours ago by CityMouse Reads
I've bought three of these and highly recommend them.
I buy my eggs in bulk, 40 in a box. The cardboard box is flimsy, so I was pleased to find these. Read more
Excellent quality. High food grade very clear plastic. Love this egg holder. We normally keep 3-4 dozen at a time so we'll add to what we bought. Wanted to see it first. Read morePublished 3 days ago by farmchik56
I love the product but unless you are buying extra large eggs they are difficult to remove due to deep wells. I have arthritis so had a hard time removing a large egg.Published 3 days ago by Cora Rupp-Merritt
I saw that there are two different egg organizers shown in the pictures. I was expecting to receive ones like the first picture - rectangular lid with built-in handle. Read morePublished 5 days ago by H. Rogers
