I am an advanced downhill skier and hoped that skating would come easily to me. It didn't. I learned to ski when I was young and the confidence I have in skiing didn't translate to my skating. Frustrations mounted. Several times I considered giving up on figure skating.
When I found "Sessions" I was ecstatic but skeptical. I've been listening to a different hypnosis track each night for almost a month now. I fall asleep with my earbuds in. Perhaps it's coincidence, but now I'm more relaxed on the ice. I have better control of my edges without thinking about them, my 3 turns flow and are effortless and my waltz jump no longer seems like a feat to achieve, but now is a simple hop. After toiling on these skills for so long, all at once they now seems like natural movements.
For me, learning on intense skill such as figure skating as an adult is very different from learning the same skill as much younger person. I believe "Sessions" helped me get passed my mental junk and cleared the path for me to function on the ice.
