Purchased kit to replace broken 80’s unit in home I just purchased. Drywalling over opening wasn’t an option because of textured wall. Very easy installation. Only modification I had to make was enlarge the mounting hole for the remote units. My old units used the next size up screws. I’m glad I purchased the kit as it nice to hear music throughout the home and patio. The sound quality is good. Also the layout of my house prevents someone from hearing you call them. Now we can use the intercom. My only suggestion for improvement would be to dish the plastic adapter trim so it sits more flush with wall. I would recommend it to anyone on the fence on whether to pull the trigger to purchase.

Could't Find an Electrician to Install It

The seller makes it sound so simple to install it but we knew we needed help. We called many electricians who all said that nobody installs these anymore as most people have digital devices. We finally located an older electrician who agreed to come and look at it but he said he could not guarantee anything and it would cost a couple thousand dollars. We did not even take anything out of the box and just returned the whole thing.

Perfect replacement for my M&S350A system from the 90’s. I am a 68 year old woman and I switched out this system in just a couple of hours. I did do the tear out of the old system the day before this new system came. I had all the wires separated by room and had read through the wiring instructions for the new system by pulling the information off the internet. It is seeing the wiring of the old system that is intimidating. What a mess that was! This new system is easy to figure out. It sounds great also and has some updated features

They market this as a retrofit to my current Nutone. I have had four audio installers tell me the wiring does not match the Nutone. The system can not be installed. I wasted over $2000 on parts and labor. I’m trying to return this after exhausting my resources. Let’s see if the seller responds.

These worked great for replacing the aged / original system that was in the house. So nice to have an updated system with bluetooth. Had an electrician put it in but it didnt take them much time at all. My only thing i wish was different is that the replacement covers that go on teh wall are about an inch larger so it take up a little more wall space than the originals and yet the speaker box is much smaller. In any case, it works well with bluetooth and great when you want your own playlist.

Purchased to replace a 6 wire intercom from the late 80's. We liked the idea of replacing vs taking it completely out and repairing the holes in the wall. Love having music throughout the whole house and the bluetooth option. Programing might have taken a while, but lucky for us we have a teen that could do it with no problems! Nice unit easy to add additional units. We have 9 stations plus patio and front door. Would recommend if you have the wiring already and you want to upgrade to something newer!
