Even if you are not in an intercultural relationship, this would be a fascinating read if you are interested in anthropology, culture, communication, etc. It really makes you think about all the societal and belief variations in the world, which in my opinion is what makes the world such a beautiful place.
The author doesn't just tear down intercultural relationships or speak only of the challenges. He also writes of solutions and success stories. I believe this book has helped me in seeing the potential difficulties I may face down the line with my own budding relationship, but it has also given me new things to consider, different perspectives, and some guidelines for how to deal with these potential obstacles.
