I used this dye to find a leak in my oil system on my Jeep. The tip is this. I wish I had looked at the engine with the black light BEFORE I added the dye. There are several things in an engine compartment that can light up with a black light that might give you a false indication. If you look at your engine first you will know what is already there BEFORE adding the dye. If you have ever had your vehicle worked on for brakes, air conditioning, fuel system, power steering pump or any other system that has fluid you could get a false indication. Please look at your engine with the black light before and after adding the dye and compare the difference.
I love this stuff! It worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to locate a leak.
