Editorial Reviews

"This book was a pleasant surprise. I've never read any of Dakota Madison'sbooks so I didn't know what to expect. What I found was a wonderful story thata ripped from the headline element to it."-- Kimmy Love to Read

"Dakota Madison has done it again! Absolutely loved this book. Sedona andJesse are so fantastic and the plot was awesome." --Carrie @ Midwest Book Lover

"Interference is an incredibly thought provoking book...that...will leavefootprints on your heart and will make you look at the sports world throughdifferent eyes."  -- Those Crazy Book Chicks

"If you love Geeks and Nerds are the New Sexy type books, then you will loveInterference by Dakota Madison."  --ThePhantom Paragrapher

"Madison lived up toever expectation I had. I loved the characters and found that thestory line was perfect. Two opposites brought together with wonderfulwriting."  -- LeAnn @ Twin Opinions

"A cute sweet romance but also with a message that rings home.... (Interference)will have you smile as you read about this unlikely couple finding love witheach other when they least expect it."  --BooksAre Love

"The lead man is a departure from the cocky, self-assured guy who wins thegirl. Don't get me wrong... Jesse knows he's a god on the court. He's a hottiewith no end. What's so wonderful about the way he's written is his sensitivityand vulnerability. It's a very hard balance to write a character with suchdepth and caring without having him come across as too sappy oreffeminate.   Madison walks the line perfectly, making him theperfectly innocent heart throb."  -- TheBook Enthusiast Reviews

Note: I got an ARC for free in exchange for my honest review. I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Interference was great! This book caught my attention right away and made it difficult to put down ( I finished it in a day!). The author did a great job developing the characters in a short novel. Sedona is a very intelligent, quirky red head. Jesse is a star college basketball player that has the ladies falling all over him. He has a huge secret that could ruin his dreams, but he has done a great job hiding it until he meets Sedona. I loved that the characters are an unlikely match. It proves love is blind and you can't help who you fall in love with. This is not an insta-love story (at least for one of them) and there is a bit of a love triangle but, there is a happy ending and no cliff hanger. I would love a sequel to follow Sedona and Jesse!

Some authors you find their books are quite slow and hard to get into, then others you pick them up and keep reading and before you know it, they are finished. Dakota Madison is the latter. All her books are set in College Campus life and feature some sort of sports player that does not fit the norm of the world in some aspect. In Interference , we meet Sedona Miller - she grew up in a collective environment with just her mother Sunny and other families, and now at nineteen she is a college senior studying to be a NeuroScientist . When a klutzy accident causes her to injure her arm, she finds herself in a dire situation as her job at the library requires her to shelve books and the head librarian Alice hates her , so she is fired from that job. Desperate for a new job, she signs up for tutoring and gets paired with Jesse Walker who needs help in his History of Jazz Class. If he doesn't pass this class, then he will fail and won't be able to play basketball which is his whole future and the only thing he has going for him. So begins the tutoring sessions and as they spend more time together of course their chemistry that at first Sedona doesn't want to admit is there sizzles. As they study, Jesse gets all the questions correct , but his tests don't match that result ? What is Jesse's dark secret and why is he setting himself up to fail ? This part of the book made me tear up and it to be honest made me fall just a little bit harder for Jesse as it proved he wasn't just another playboy basketball player. Also in Interference, we discover the background on who Sedona's father truly is and why her mother hated jocks ?

If you love Geeks and Nerds are the New Sexy type books, then you will love Interference by Dakota Madison.

Independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.

Sedona loses her job after an accident means she can't shelve books. Landing a tutoring gig seems an easy option. But Jesse has worked his way through 2 tutors in as many weeks. He's a basketball player, and thats all he wants to do. But He needs to pass The History of Jazz to stay playing. Sedona discovers a sercet that could cost him his career, or could cost her his love.

When I'm sent a book to read, the first thing I do, is toodle off to Gooreads and/or Amazon to read the blurb, and a few reveiws. This book has a lot of four and five star reviews, so I thought, yeah, gonna be good.

Its not bad, by any means but not really awesome. Its a NICE book. A nice story, with nice characters, with a nic flow and a nice ending. It just wasn't the five star read I was expecting.

The blurb says a "spicy sports romance". It has sports, and it has romance, but I didn't get so much of the spice. It has HEAT, yes, but not so much of the spice. Its also a single person POV, and ya'll know how I feel about those!

I DID like the twist to the "hot sports star having lots of women" theme. AND I did get Jesse's secret very early on, but I liked that. I liked that I could see it all unravelleing under his nose. I LOVED the Sedona's mum and the coach twist! Loved that, did NOT see that coming.

All in all, a nice easy read, nothing too complicated or dramatic, a hand over cure, if a little longer than the usual ones. Its billed as 216 pages on Amazon, but it didn't feel that long, to me, anyway.

I am from Belgium en here is my opinion for this book.
I am very happy to read books in English because they translate here in Belgium Some books but not So good.
somtimes there are words missing or something like that.
i like to read them from here and here i go try to give my opinion about it.
I am saying that my spelling is not so good.
sorry for this
But i do my best to help.
I thought this was a good book.
And was quickly read.
There was not really anything just a nice ending so i slept Well
There was a verry little action in it ,love, love triangle, romance, making new friendships ,.....
It was very sweet.
There was sex in this book.
But there were no details given about it.
And everything was also largely in good words explained.
But they remained very nice.
O and what i do like is the boy is a virgin that you dont read a lot so i like that a " lottttttttttt "
I would certainly recommend it to teenagers from the age of 16.
I think that this shows that you need to talk.
When you say nothing about your problems no one can help you.
O And a happy end
So a lovely book for me
