I have two pairs of professional Interfit lights, both daylight balanced flourescent (2 each) and halogen (2 each). The original halogen lights were purchased about 5 years ago and the stands are very sturdy. The flourescents were purchased about 3 years ago and the stands were noticeably flimsier and weaker.

This reflector set has an even weaker stand, it can barely hold the weight of the reflector, which would have been much better I think with a rectangular shape rather than a round shape. The mechanism to hold the reflector is also weak and there were no instructions at all with the product. I mean c'mon -- they can't photocopy a one-pager of instructions and stuff it in the box?

The problem overall is that the 5-part reflector system is too heavy for the single arm that sticks out, someone really didn't think through the design on this. It works, but I'm figuring the arm and/or the stand will probably break soon.

So overall, I wish Interfit would step up the game on their stands. After all, pro lights and reflectors like this are heavily dependent on a good, solid stand. I'd pay more to get a better stand and I think they're hurting their reputation by trying to cheap out on the materials and design.

The 5 in 1 reflector works very nicely.

I do recommend getting a stand weight to keep the rig from tipping when the reflector is held out on the arm.

I kind of wish the reflector's arm had a center mount so that the reflector's center of gravity would be directly over the stand instead of hanging out away from the stand, creating a tip hazard. However, when using the diffuser, you need to have it out on the arm in order to get the desired usable angles with the lighting, and subject.

I did have to get a different reflector to be able to have full gold reflection for warmer gold effects, but I also like the half gold/silver zigzag pattern on this reflector. It gives a nice warm light that's not too golden if you don't want it too warm. Well done.

I love this so much I can't even tell you. It's so easy to use and stores as a small disc in a zip pouch, tripod folds skinny like any other. Easy to use with the boom arm, I have found my favorite way to use it is just have a person hold it so I can adjust on the fly. Great quality for a great price, easy to care for, durable. This thing gets beat up and bounces back to life every time

The quality of reflectors is good. It is a little heavy for the ball joint and sometimes the arm holding the reflector starts to fall down. You will need a sand bag or weight to hold your stand in place or it will tip due to the reflectors weight in certain positions. I am happy with it and love the "soft sun" color. The diffuser panel is also nice to have.

You best believe I would...and I already do. I'm currently only using one flash, so this reflector comes in handy to help fill in the shadows on the other side of someone's face. I've also used only this reflector when on location. Only the silver and gold reflectors have been used by me, since that's all I need for right now. I do, however, highly recommend this for anyone and everyone that does location shoots. I've yet to use it in my studio, so I can't answer to that right now.

I do love the kit but I may have to replace the arm on the stand. The arm does not tighten very well, I have to work with it to get it to stay tight. I can replace that part down the road. over all it is nice to have all the reflectors. It will be great for travel. I don't have the room to take much lightening with me when I go to Arizona where I live a few months out of the year.

I received my purchase quicker than I had planned which was nice. However I was upset when there were no instructions. I thought I would be able to piece it together but after a few trials and looking up the product online for instructions concluded that I was not set a complete set of parts. I wrote back to the seller and they were able to send me more parts. However when asked how to assemble it, they replied that they didn't have instructions so I pretty much had to figure it out myself and the product is still not working. I am so frustrated. I understand that it's actually rather simple to put together but still some basic instructions would help.
