Unfortunately, after only two plays, two of the tops are damaged. The teeth that fit into the rip cord are breaking off, causing misfires and slower spin rate for those two tops. I don't believe we've had any unusual use or roughness with them, they're just fragile. I realize this is a low-end game, but I'd still expect the product to stand up to more play before breaking down.
That said its a lot fun to play. I gave it to my 10year old niece, she played with it a lot...probably got palyed with more then the more expensive games she gotten.
Given the price its fine...I guess at least 2 tops will probably survive for a while so the game will continue to be playable.
The tops fly off the platform fairly often, so don't get your face too close.

My younger brother loved this game 20+ years ago. I bought it for him as a remembrance of the 'old' days. He taught my grandchildren how to play - they all love it! Read morePublished on January 2, 2014 by Linda Mohn
My grandson loves this game! We spent hours with it on Christmas Day even though he received many other games as well!Published on November 23, 2013 by vickielynn
Easy to play. Good, competitive fun. However, we played it for about 15 minutes then we were onto something else.Published on January 21, 2013 by DMC
We had the old game.
The old game was harder to do but more fun.
This has less parts and is easier for younger kids.
Had this game growing up and loved it, bought it for my brother and in our 40's it's still fun!Published on January 9, 2013 by Kritter
Great fun product! It is really fun for children! Our whole family
played it on Christmas and it was a great memory.
Got this for my childcare. Kids four and older love it. Any younger and they have a hard time putting rip stick in right so top will spin.Published on November 5, 2012 by rita
